Dark brown for caucasian skin is 5.0 Dark brown for tanned skin is 4.0 If you are super grey natutallt you will want to get 4.00 or 5.00 (the 00 means its an intense colpur and will cover all greys). You need to mix the tube of colour 1:1 with 6% peroxide/ developer. Eg: 50ml 5.0 to 50ml 6% developer. Mix up the right amount for how much you will need for the task in hand Mix it to a smooth consistancy in a non metalic bowl with a tint brush and apply to hair once fully saturated leave for 45mins to develop. Shampoo twice and condition. Goo luck! **Q: Can I use this as a toner with 3% developer?** A: Yes **Q: If I have dark roots will I need to the bleach them first or will this colour lift my roots mixed with a 30 vol developer?** A: Definitely first you need to bleach your roots, specially if they are dark.
