1996-98 Chevy, GMC 1500 2500 LS A/C swap or relocation bracket kit

Great relocation brackets! Let’s you keep the stock AC system and keeps the alternator in the stock location. Make sure you use a 145 amp alternator like the instructions say to use.

I dislike the instruction and for the price it should be better looking that what i got looks like it was a used item being reused and ask the seller about it he wasnt any help he told me to get a reimburstment because i didnt know how to installed it and the scratches were from manufacture had to used hammer to fix it and to take off the alternator its a pain to take it off

For as much as this bracket kit costs, I expected better quality. The ac bracket came raw, not painted. Starting to rust right out of the box, didn't clean up spots after welding, and all the edges are verys sharp. Hopefully the kit functions as necessary, but too pricey for this kind of quality.

first the things i dislike: the instructions are only clear to the people that understand how it is supposed to go. ( you have to start assembly with the front plate and the bolts and spacers that mount it to the water pump not the front of the cylinder head). no instructions for the a/c bracket but with a little common sense it is do able, and the a/c line does require a bend outward just a little.what i like: its made out of good sturdy materials, when you tighten the bolts down there is no play anywhere. the other places it bolts to increase its durability 💯. it does not interfiere with my intake. the finish does not shine so it goes with my bare bones build.note: i did not have the belt or tensioner when i installed this so the ac compressor needed alignment but that was it.

Cheap quality the weld look like a kid did it.Would not recommend buying this kit.An the instructions are terrible.

Used this on my 1998 z71 with a 05 5.3, works perfect so far. Be sure and run the recommended alternator or itll throw the belt! The alternator ya need is a large cased one.
