I used these for a Halloween costume so they worked perfect for my needs except they were a tad heavy, which would be good if you were going to use them for what they were intended. That said, they did work to briefly restrain a friend at the party but they weren't determined to get out like a criminal would be. Just don't lose the keys like I did later or you'll have to buy a whole new set just for the key if you want to reuse the costume!

This review is for eyes of legal age, 18+ only (or legal age of your current country) **sexual content** I was looking for a solid set of cuffs, something I could use for a little fun with my partner. once I received them I tried them right away, they seemed a lot smaller than I was expecting, but that ended up being a good thing, as I have much larger hand than wrist as I come to find out. I don't have to tighten it all the way tight, I can leave 1-2 clicks out and still be unable to escape them, meaning I could avoid marks on my wrist easier. the double lock made sure I didn't accidently put them on too tight after I was bound, and they could not tighten themselves. next curiosity peaked for me, and I could tighten a cuff around my privates, and pretty much turn handcuffs into a toy for cbt. this soon brought up the idea of tricking my partner into a forced handjob. hide the keys have the cuffs hidden and one on your privates, one on her wrist. she pulled and yanked, but in the end, it felt so worth it perfect for your first set of handcuffs

It’s just what I said: these are junior-sized cuffs. For construction, they’re ok. The links are welded closed and the locking mechanism is correct. However, contemporary handcuffs don’t have exposed rivets like these do. They’re steel and they’re well-built, otherwise speaking. They are simply small. They will work well with petite women and children, hence the title. For most men over 6’ tall, or 220lbs, which describes most American men, these won’t fit. However, once you consider everything but the exposed rivets and child sizing, they’re a steal for under $14, which is what I got them for. At least they’ll fit most women and small men. Just have a flexi set on-hand, JIC.

I have a pair of S&W cuffs I got from a friend or an officer a while ago during a training event. I wanted a second pair as the S&W ones are hinged and while I prefer hinged these ones are great as well! I love the black color, first off aside from looking sleek its less likely to attract attention but above all I find it matches most uniforms better and from brief testing these fit in the small of my back by tucking one cuff down the back of your pant and another outside, not only do they fit casually like that they feel secure, don't jingle, and sitting and even laying down I hardly notice they are their where as with my hinged cuffs they bulge making sitting down uncomfortable, laying down out of the question and they also jingle a bit....either way I'm not a police detective so these will most likely be sitting in a proper cuff holder but if their are any plain clothes LE officers I thought I would put that out their. They are also durable and from briefly wearing them I can say they are just as *pleasant* feeling as what my local PD, county and other PD's use when I've gotten to learn and train with hands on with them. The keys are of course standard universal cuff keys...no mystery in that aspect..they open my S&W's as well as other "professional" handcuffs and the keys look just like any other handcuff key. Includes two which is nice since I only have one for my S&W's which makes me nervous. I keep the extra key in my wallet but for LE officers there are numerous places to put an extra key to avoid the embarrassment of loosing one, they have a badge holder with a spot behind your tin to put the key. Overall I really like these, I might even buy another pair or two just in case....I've been known to have bad luck with handcuff's so the more the better!

For the price this is a nice set of handcuffs. I keep a pair in case of home defense or defense of curtilage. It is important to be equipped to properly detain an invader or trespasser if the need arises. You never want to find yourself in a situation where you have to hold a detainee to the ground for 30-40 minutes while police arrive or use ad hoc methods of retention such as rope or tape. Restraining a detainee by force can cause breathing and/or circulatory problems that can cause death or other serious health implications. Tape, rope, and other ad hoc methods can be easily wrestled out of by an detainee that is not being compliant. By investing $15.00 dollars you avoid these pitfalls. Make sure to secure a detainee in the correct manner. Hands behind the back, palms facing out and make sure the cuffs are not too tight. Handcuffs are also meant to be a temporary restraint. Check the cuffs every fifteen minutes to make sure they have not been tampered with or have clicked on too tight. Do not keep someone handcuffed behind their back for more then an hour. Circulation or other complications may develop if this occurs. If this becomes necessary you may need to switch to other restraint methods such as a belly band. You can construct a makeshift belly band with a chain and paid lock or thick rope tied very well. Any way you restrain a detainee never leave them unmonitored. Always have someone watching them and make sure they have sufficient firepower to control the situation in case of escape or attempted escape. As always, make sure you detain individuals in compliance with the laws of your jurisdiction. Even though it is legal to carry handcuffs outside of your house/property it is usually a bad idea to do so. Never try to "play cop". Use instruments like this to protect you and your family in your house and on your property. I give these handcuffs a plus because they are black. Chrome or silver ones catch the light at night giving away your location.

The cuffs are good for their price. I'm sure if you paid more money, you'd get better cuffs, but they work well for me. Update: After some use, these cuffs show their price as they hurt cuff-ees when applying to the wrist and is key picky. I replaced my cuffs with some Smith and Wesson's and I am much happier with those. In the long run, I would spring for a better pair of cuffs.

really heavy duty steel it has the real double lock system making it even more safe and good for security and gifts for cop roll players will have to use it blank and break it in to get it a little less stiffened which i know thats how their supposed to be but idk
