I think I found a favorite lotion! Normally I use other brands, but I have always loved Jergens soap and Lavender essential oil, so I thought I'd try this. I have to say this one is a winner-- the triple butter combination hydrates your skin without a greasy feel or harsh dryness afterwards, that seems to be so common with lotions and creams with essential oils added. This one has a nice light feel to it. It not only softens and hydrates the skin with a nice barrier, the smell is absolutely delicious and of pure lavender essential oil! And it does not take very much on my hands, just a small amount. It both soothes the skin and calms the nerves as well as provides a nice scent. I will definitely be back for more of this, and highly recommend it! Exceptional quality skin care at a great price too! Great for a gift or adding to a gift basket, or to keep in your desk to soothe and uplift you at work, or on your bedside table, kitchen sink or bathroom.Update: I have since purchased the Sandalwood too and it is true-to-scent and equally as nice. I did notice other notes of scent in it initially, but it is mainly Sandalwood essence and is quite pleasant!

As a guy, I'm not a big fan of any skin care products that feel greasy or heavy. I recently started layering scents in combination with colognes, and this sandalwood moisturizer is fantastic for this. Colognes and perfumes stay far better on hydrated skin, so I tend to use moisturizer every morning after my shower and it helps to 'set' my cologne for all day wear. I choose a cologne with sandalwood in one of the scent layers and this product works perfectly, punching up the sandalwood just a little while maintaining the potency of the cologne. If you're a guy - TRY THIS. Test the scent of this lotion along with your favorite cologne and try scent layering (Google can be your best friend in learning about this concept). Completely changes the entire concept of personal scents.

Light rose smell that is not over powering. Thick moist cream that is smooth and goes on easy with not having to rub repeatedly to absorb. Leaves your skin soft and smooth, does well with hydration if used daily or even every other day so overall last. Value for the price definitely worth it, even better if you watch for deals. Recommend!

Smells very nice without being overly loud. Works excellent. My only complaint is it takes a long time to dry. A bit on the greasy side also. Immediate improvement though, I will buy again.

This is my new favorite bedtime ritual! The bottle came very well sealed and the value for the size is totally worth it. I have KP and Eczema, and this lotion doesn't bother my skin at all. In fact, it absorbs easily, quickly, and leaves nothing but soft skin. It's not greasy or sticky. The scent does smell fairly perfumey at first, but it only takes a small amount and it seems to lose that fake smell rather quickly. Left behind is a light lavender scent. I put it on my arms right before I go to sleep and it's the perfect level of aromatherapy to help me feel pampered and ready for rest. By morning, the scent is gone, but my skin still feels lovely. I haven't used it in a full body application. I feel like the scent would be too strong for me if I did. I'll definitely buy this again.

This Jergens Rose scent is wonderful, creamy, not greasy, and long lasting. My review and rating is about the Sandalwood scent only. It doesn’t smell like Sandalwood at all, and the scent doesn’t last. I was very disappointed and should have stuck with Rose. I really like bold perfume smell, if you don’t, this brand may not be for you. I’m trying the Lavender next, with another Rose. The lotion overall is really great and good value for the price, but I had to mention the item I’m unhappy with. My bad to have picked it, and I’m using it up as fast as possible. This style of Jergens lotion was hard to find, I hope they aren’t discontinuing.
