Quality product
Likes: Brand, quality, photo resolutionDislike: Color scheme; would prefer more muted colors to blend in with tree trunk as once leaves fall, the camera unit stands out.

Poor mounting system, great pictures
This camera takes great pictures but the new mounting system leaves a lot to be desired. It allows for the camera to be tilted to get shots from above, but I was unable to get it to remain upright without purchasing a secondary mount and attaching it to a T shaped fencepost. If you want a camera to strap to a tree, your better off with one of the other Browning options.

You don't want this security box
I have owned a number of trail camera - including Brownings - over the years and have just had to get used to the idea that the camera are not long lived products. Perhaps this camera will be a surprise, but that is not the point of this review.Unlike the cameras, the security boxes DO last - typically until the manufacturer decides to abandon the form factor, which does happen. I need a box because pretty much every camera I have ever owned has at least one video of a curious bear trying to figure out what that thing hanging on the tree is.Unfortunately, this box is not a keeper. It is so badly designed that I seriously have to question Browning's commitment to their customers. The ONLY mounting holes on this box are in the back, on the BOTTOM. What that means is that if you use a standard locking cable - like the one bundled in this package - to hold the camera to a tree, the camera will fall over. This leaves to option, neither of which are really acceptable: 1) hand the camera upside down or 2) use the (small) strap that comes with the camera to attached it to the tree and add the Master Lock cable as a locking device. I will have to use option 2, but the time it takes me to replace the SD cards will likely double, and it is a pretty fair bet that some bear (or human) will at some point decide to have fun with the canvas cable. All of this could have been prevent simply by putting the mounting holes in the center of the camera, like previous models did. What brilliant engineer decided to make this "improvement?" Even worse, what product tester decided that this was a workable concept?Go figure.
