1.5 Year Review: Best Wallet
I've had this wallet for a little over one and a half years now, and I can say confidently that it's the best wallet I've owned. The main reason it's the best is because of two things: size and usability. When I was looking for a wallet, I valued something small most of all. I wanted something that could fit easily in one of my front pocket so I wouldn't have to deal with the discomfort of sitting on a wallet in my back pocket anymore. For this factor, I don't think a wallet can get any smaller. This wallet is about as small as a wallet possibly could be. It's the only wallet I've ever been able to forget I was carrying; it just vanishes in my pocket. For a wallet so small, it's surprisingly usable. The quick access card strap works really well, and it's satisfying to use every time I have to retrieve a card. The other card slot is certainly harder to access, but it expands wide enough for my needs and it holds my cards securely. In general, I only have to deal with the less convenient card pocket about once a week, so it's no big deal. The cash/misc pocket can be a little difficult to deal with, but it is functional and it allows me to keep a couple of 20's with me just in case. Again, this is not a big deal to me as I don't use cash all that often. As with the normal card pocket, it holds things very securely. After a year and a half, I can say that it has held up well. I don't really see any wear on it other than it's a little grungier looking than when I bought it. I could probably get it looking close brand new if I spent a little time cleaning it. I can't say for sure how long it will last, but given that it hasn't degraded in the time I've owned it, and that it has a very simple design, I'd say it will probably last quite a bit longer.Overall, this wallet is a winner. It has a great size, great usability, and it's affordable. It's not made out aircraft grade titanium or w/e fancy materials some other clips are made out, it's just made of simple materials that do the job, no more no less. This wallet has ended my search for the perfect wallet, and it might just end your search too.4 year update: it's still in perfect functional conditon, and it still looks pretty darn good.

Still wowed by the quality. It's a bargain at $20
Only one of my friends still walks around with a George Costanza leather and when I sit across from him , his eyes are not horizontal to the table.Really love this small wallet that focuses onfootprint, durability, and efficiency. Here is the honest, no-BS breakdown after living with it for 6 years and buying my first replacement. Switched colors this time from black to green. The Form Factor: I don't think it's possible to get smaller unless you use 2 rubber bands. This thing defines "barely there." In terms of dimensions, it is barely wider than a standard credit card and actually shorter in height. Because there are no layers of leather, heavy aluminum plates, or plastic dividers, it adds zero bulk. Pull tab is great and only on the side that has the cards you use the most. The Elastic "Memory" (Read This Before You Load It Up):The company says this holds up to 15 cards. They aren't lying, but there’s a catch. Because most modern credit cards are flat-printed now (thank God the era of raised, embossed lettering is dying), you can stack them incredibly tight. I’ve been carrying 14 cards in mine with absolutely zero issues. Warning: Elastic has a memory, and this thing will not shrink back. If you stretch it out to hold 14 cards for a month, you are officially committed to that thickness. If you suddenly decide to downsize to 4 cards later, the pocket will be loose and your cards will slide out. Pick your card count and stick to it or buy 2 of these.Durable - proved by the unintentional and accidental laundry:Most wallets hit water or heat and they're done. Leather cracks, nylon frays, glue separates. I accidentally tossed this wallet into the washing machine. To make matters worse, it then spent over an hour in the dryer on high mixed in with a heavy load of towels. Surprisingly, it shows zero impact - looks like I just unboxed it.The Ultimate Beach CompanionBecause of that insane durability, this is the ultimate wallet for boardshorts and bathing suits. Do not leave your cash and ID sitting on a beach towel while you go swim. Just take the wallet into the ocean or pool with you. I've used the black one in the pool with no issues - but I do think heavy usage may distort the color due to the chlorine. One flaw:The back cash pocket is great, but you do have to fold your bills tightly to get them in. I don't trust it for a house key as I suspect it will fall out.Everyday wallet, but not fancy.100% yes. It’s marketed for active use, but it has easily become my everyday carry. If you want to purge your pocket clutter, this is a masterclass in minimalism. Just accept that you can't downsize your card count once you stretch it, keep your keys elsewhere, and enjoy the fact that you’ll never feel your wallet in your pocket again.I've recently added the Peak Design card sleeve that I use when I go for work because it looks a little nicer.

A great wallet
I had my first one of these for about 4 years. It served its purpose well, but I still crammed too many cards into it. I really only use about 6 cards (incl drivers license) but I probably put about twice that many into the wallet. About 6 months ago, I decided that I wanted it to be slimmer and I tried to take a number of the cards out. At that point, the elastic was too stretched out and I couldn't downsize without having the wallet too loose. I never used the cash pocket as I liked to have my cash in one pocket and my cards in the other. About a week ago, I decided to start using the cash pocket as well and it's great. Over the four year period, I've come to rely far less on cash and as a result, the tiny pocket now accommodates my cash needs. In order to achieve my goal of a much slimmer wallet, I ordered a new wallet and it just came. I just loaded it up with my fewer cards and smaller cash stash and I forgot how tight it was when new. The bottom line is this: the wallet lasted about 4 years. It was very serviceable during that period and now that I have a new model, it's even better. I think that 4 years is an acceptable lifespan for this type of product and I was happy to buy the product again. I saw that there is a competing product that is nearly the same, without the cash pocket. That other product is cheaper, but I decided to buy this one again for two reasons:1) I like that this company started on kickstarter and that they created the form factor. I want to support them and not some other company that simply copied their design2) I like the cash pocket... it's a feature that I had forgotten about and just started to use with great utility.Sidenote: I'd like to buy the travel bag from NOMATIC as well but it just doesn't look stylish to me. Furthermore, the straps and doodads just seem optically chaotic to me. If anyone from the company reads these reviews, I have a suggestion: consider a more visually appealing model that possesses just the critical technical features. I would definitely buy one and I haven't found such a product anywhere on the web. In my research, I've seen duffels that look striking but lack key utility features such as full top opening, thoughtfully organized pockets/compartments and the option to wear as a backpack for easy navigation through the hustle and bustle. Just my two cents!

Great idea. Execution is solid but just shy of perfect.
This is a unique product, so this is a long review. TLDR: go watch the marketing videos to see if the idea works. If you like the way it works, the engineering, quality, and construction is enough to make it work.I almost never lose my keys or wallet. However somehow I managed to lose my wallet at a restaurant while wrangling kids and take-out boxes. No one ever used my credit cards, but my wallet never showed up. I took this as a sign to change things up.I've been against thick "Costanza" wallets since I first started carrying a wallet, so the transition to this wasn't huge for me in terms of stuff in my wallet. What is different is keeping it in my front pocket with my phone instead of the back, and the way the wallet works. If you are considering this, do yourself a favor and go see the youtube videos they made. It makes little sense when looking at pictures, or even with the wallet in your hand. With a video it is immediately clear how it works.Let's get some downsides out of the way first:- biggest issue is cash. I like to keep a little cash in my pocket for emergencies, vending machines, splitting lunch, or if my kid wants something out of a machine. You can easily and smoothly keep some bills in this wallet. In fact the elastic works well enough to keep probably something like 10 bills without being awkward. But the problem is anytime you get bills in or out, you have to fold them up just right. I use cash less and less anyway, but it is annoying when I do.- Business cards get messed up. Not a big deal, but if you get any business cards, they will stick out past the plastic credit-card sized cards, and get mashed. This happens some in traditional wallets, but worse in this.- Cash makes your "one-card" hard to get out. One of the great things about this wallet is your primary card should just be a thumb flick away, as shown in the videos. In practice this doesn't work very well if you have any US sized bills in the pocket.Possible downside, remains to be seen: The leather tab for pulling out the cards could maybe be thicker, or have something to keep it from sinking in place. It already dips down into the slot, and seems like with time it might slip down.So on to the benefits:- Smaller, thinner for front pocket use- Materials are soft enough to keep in pocket with my phone- It is actually thinner and more manageable to keep more cards in this wallet than it was with a traditional bifold. That is really nice. I actually can keep more cards that aren't often used if wanted. In fact, the wallet doesn't even really work without at least 6 cards.- Getting to your cards is much easier than it is in a traditional wallet, especially your primary 2- So far (about a month in) the elastic works very well. It can expand a little to hold extra cards or cash without loosing its hold when you go back down to a smaller number. This is crucial for the design and works well.It seems like my list of downsides is bigger, but most are minor quibbles or required explanation. The end result is I'm very happy with the product.

best 'wallet', albeit a differrent type, I have ever had
For a small footprint 'wallet' this pull tab Minimalistic device more than serves its purpose. My 1st one lasted over 10 years, was not expensive. See how long this new one lasts. Very good, holds all my identity cards, six or 7 and CC... little cash I carry folds up and is hidden. Good product.

The best wallet I have ever owned while I am 39 years old
This is my most favorite money carrying device I've ever owned. I carry around 12 cards, cash, and a few business cards and this device does it with ease. Then, it fits into the smallest space in my pocket. I like the color. The size makes it appropriate no matter the environment. I really have no negative feedback about this wallet. 5/5

Favorite Wallet
Just ordered my second one of these wallets. Favorite wallet I've had. They're minimalistic and serve their purpose. I added a money clip that slides into the pouch. Works perfectly.

Small, Functional, and AirTag Compatibile
I thought I needed a slimmer wallet, so I tried several on the market. This one is my favorite, and I've been using it in my front pocket for eight months now. The wallet compartment that is meant to hold money and a key will also hold an AirTag beautifully, with only a small, smooth bump. One reviewer mentioned that the AirTag slips out when the cards are pulled up, but that might have been an earlier version. That compartment is made of stretch material. For me, the AirTag stays in, and I can't shake it out.I like it so much that I ordered a spare just in case.

Best slimline wallet - look no further
I love these wallets. This is my second one. My last one lasted 3 or 4 years and had a good life. I keep 9 cards and 2 loyalty cards in it along with some notes, and a few keepsakes in the small compartment. Really neat and slimline. I don’t expect to find a better wallet.

Small, efficient - It works.
I love this leather wallet replacement. Gone is the big wad on my butt. I can't say enough about how good the Nomatic is as a replacement.
User
Great wallet. Very lightweight, Holds everything I need. Not metal which is great for me!
I don’t know how long the elastic will last, but this is exactly what I was looking for. Extremely lightweight. No metal to scratch up things or rattle when I place it in the car or other places where metal wallets aren’t ideal. Very small and minimalist, yet easy to put every card that I need to take with it, and in my case, a single bill just in case.Exactly what I want. I can’t see why it won’t last for me, I don’t expect the elastics to be an issue, but I see some others have had that issue. For my use, I expect it to last for a very long time. I’m very happy with it.
