“Great Calcium Citrate Supplement That’s Easy to Swallow”
I picked up the Citracal Petites + D3 because I wanted a calcium supplement that was easier on the stomach and didn’t require taking it with food, and this one checks all the boxes. The tablets are definitely smaller and easier to swallow compared to regular calcium pills, which is a huge plus for me. Since it’s calcium citrate, it absorbs well and doesn’t cause the same stomach discomfort or heaviness that some calcium carbonate supplements can. I also like that it includes vitamin D3, which helps with better absorption and makes it more of a complete daily supplement. The bottle comes with a big count, so it’s a great value for how long it lasts. Overall, it’s gentle, convenient, and feels like a reliable option for daily calcium support. I’ll continue using it and update if anything changes, but so far I’m very satisfied.

Easy to Swallow
Yeah! They're enteric coated and easy to swallow. Replaced the giant tablets I could no longer tolerate. The only drawback is you have to take two easy caplets instead of one giant tablet, and maybe pay a bit more. A fair trade-off for me!

Nice alternative
Been taking these "petite" caplets for almost 3 years. They were recommended to me by my physician as an alternative to the regular size (horse pills) that calcium pills usually are. They are still big for me but I can get them down without any issues, usually. They have been effective as my calcium levels have increased to an acceptable level. There is no aftertaste and I'm happy with the ingredients.

Definitely a large pill to swallow
I don't think anyone enjoys taking calcium tablets. This are large but coated to make them a bit easier to swallow than many of the other calcium supplements. I take two a day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. I find it better to take before a meal since they are big and food helps me get them down easier. They are easier to absorb and provide me with close to the amount of calcium I am required to take. This is best price I have found for this type of supplement. Put them on subscribe to save a bit of money.

Good but not perfect
Very happy to get these calcium citrate pills—they are coated to go down fairly easily and do not include zinc (like many OTHERS do, which causes nausea on an empty stomach) However, they are not “petite” as advertised. I took a photo of this pill next to two other brands of calcium pills I have tried unsuccessfully recently to show you the size of these “petite” pills in comparison. They are not that much smaller. I also took a photo with two of these pills in my hand so that you can compare it to the seller’s similar photo of two pills in a model’s hand, which makes them appear much smaller—perhaps my hands are smaller than the model’s hands. And since they contain only 400mg per TWO pill serving, I have to take four a day—two in the morning and two more at night. It means the bottle of 375 pills lasts me slightly more than only 90 days. But still, it’s very nice to have these since they are citrate with no magnesium. I don’t like that they contain sodium and various other ingredients in addition to the calcium citrate. I would have rated these a “5” if they were truly petite, didn’t contain other ingredients like sodium and stuff I cannot pronounce, and it would sure be nice if they were EACH 600mg instead of only 200mg.

Nice coated tablets
My wife was recently told by your doctor to take calcium and vitamin D pills. I bought some on Amazon and didn't realize that calcium pills are usually pretty big – the first one I bought were capsules and my wife has trouble swallowing pills of that size. These are tablets, which I can split with her pills splitting device making them easier to swallow. These are working well and do not splinter all over the place when you cut them in half--a pleasant change from some of the prescription stuff which crack into all kinds of dust and fragments during the process – these split cleanly if that's a problem for you

Easy to swallow
After being told, I needed to take calcium supplements I suffered through one full bottle of the regular Citracal and was so glad I decided to try the petite pills. The pills are about the same length as regular size however, they are much slimmer in diameter and easier to swallow. I like the Citracal brand of calcium because the calcium citrate is easier on my stomach.

Right-sized calcium vitamins
These calcium vitamins are easier to swallow— they’re called petites for a reason.
