This teapot has a large capacity is very sturdy - it works great compared to some cheaper options I’ve used in the past. The whistle is loud and the heat distributes evenly on the bottom for a quick boil. It does seem like it’s discoloring slightly but that’s probably my own fault for using high heat on my gas burner.

I bought this kettle for my wife to use at our cabin. She already has the white version at home and loves it, but I chose the yellow one because it adds such a warm, cheerful country-cabin vibe to our kitchen. It heats water well, and the whistle is probably the best feature for her, she’s always getting distracted with something in the garden, so she can actually hear when the water is ready. Functional, stylish, and full of personality. It looks like it belongs in our cozy cabin kitchen.

Looks nice, polished SS exterior, light weight product (not a positive attribute) vs similar SS kettles we have had, hence longevity is questionable at this time, we will update post some prolonged usage. The handle gets very hot and one needs to use a mitt to avoid burns, the mitt provided with the unit is not practical to use and indication that OEM is well aware of the hot surface problem. Updating review after few months of daily usage, as mentioned before the handle gets very hot and its a significant concern. the heat transfer rate from stove to kettle is also sub-par, it takes much longer to boil the water compared to another SS kettle we had before this one

This steel tea kettle heats water fast and looks great on my stove. The handle stays cool to the touch, and the whistle is loud without being annoying. It is very easy to clean and I really like it.

It’s a nice looking kettle. The whistle is weak. The handle construction baffles the mind. The heat-safe area covers the back half of the handle, and, unless you have go-go-Gadget fingers, you can’t reach the button to open for pouring without coming into contact with the hot stainless steel part of the handle. They include an awkward silicone holder to help with this, but why not design the thing right in the first place? For the price, it’ll do for now. I use a kettle many times a day. We’ll see how long it holds up.

I was amased at the quality of this kettle! It is gorgeous; a beautiful colour, quite heavy and very good quallity. The bottom is a triple layer of stainless steel, so it holds up to heat. It works well; stays shiny, washes well and is easy to clean. It looks very good w/ any decor and it's a pretty colour. For about $80., which is mid price for a good tea kettle, you can't go wrong. No need to spend over $100. for a good stove top like this. We're British and love our tea. We don't use electric kettles or microwaves to make tea! This one is perfect!! Our last one got chipped after 5 years, so gave it away.
