Great camera? No. Extreme value for money? Yes.
Is this a good camera? No. Is this an excellent value for the money? Yes, absolutely. The focal length is slightly wide angle, I would have preferred it to be wider but it's the same as the cameras it was replacing. Expect some image bowing due to the wider angle, if you want 1:1 you should look at 5mm focal length. The wire goes through the mount and there is no way to attach a standard "tripod mount" thread to it so keep that in mind. I was lucky to have an old plastic mount that I could reuse after unscrewing the base of this camera since the low profile mount was getting too much of my roof eve in the frame. The cord itself is rather short but you will be using a cable to get to your DVR anyhow so that isn't really an issue. The color intensity is a little high during the day and the resolution isn't so great but it is a steady picture with no video noise or banding at all. The camera has a mechanical filter that drops in place when the light sensor turns on the IR emitter, you will hear a click when that happens. The emitter is a bit weak but it does have acceptable night vision that falls off at about 30 feet. Now, this might sound like a bad review but I spent barely anything on two cameras that replaced two older and beat up units that were quite a bit more. Value for money I am extremely pleased with these cameras and will be buying four more. And when the hot Florida sun destroys them in a few years, I will simply replace them with more of these same units since they cost almost nothing and came on a Saturday with free shipping from Prime.

For the money
Good camera for the cost. Left my last system in a house I sold. Those were just like these only made by another company & a little more expensive. My DVR this time is better than my Zmodo. REALLY like the new DVR, from another company (no the one here), The cameras are about the same quality as I"m used to for 20$% less money. The night vision could be better, but I['m also in a place where there is a lot less ambient light to work with. When there is street lights, neighbors lights etc, night vision will work better on most cameras like these. Just bought the 4 pack of camera w/ the included wires. That's a good value. I could use a few 20 footers to fill a gap or two. Update- I received the 4 pack & they sent a different, ugly, battle ship looking camera that I don't want. It doesn't match the other 4 & & I don't want these behemoths hanging off of my house. What a waste of time. They have the same pic for the 4 pack as the singles & yet don't send the same cameras. Said they're sending the replacements. I will up date review when I receive them. Whey they sent when they orginally sent the 4 pack is pictured below. THey said they function the same. If they had the correct pic of the ones they sent in the 4 pack, I would not have bought them. They don't match. Update- Received the correct cameras today. That makes 8 of these that I purchased. They made things right so no harm no foul. I might not have cared so much had this been my first system or if this wasn't a new construction. All cylinders firing pic below. Have one more old camera to swap out.

Poor camera resolution
I bought two cameras to see which I like better, this and the Annke 1080 camera. I have an older Swann security system and I wanted to upgrade to better cameras. This camera does not have a great resolution unlike the Annke. The camera is also not as wide angle as my old cameras. Also, the 4 in one switch is so big I had to alter the existing holes where I had my wired cameras to fit the switch in. I have not used it at night yet, but based on daytime performance it is unlikely it will be any better. Ok camera if you are in a pinch, but the Annkes are the same price.

The perfect fpv rc lawnmower camera!
Very happy with this camera. I played with the night vision few times. Very clear up to 25 feet in the dark. Very clear to about 75 feet daytime. With that said for cctv needs its pretty good for its price. Now onto my use for it..... Here is pfv video from the camera! https://youtu.be/QDf1-_aEDB4 the screen snow is from objects in the way of my video link signal! Not the cameras fault! I used mine for a RC (remote controled) lawnmower! Very clear nice wide angle lenses. Great for FPV (first person view). I mow my lawn and 3 others all from the comforts of a recliner chair and a 55inch screen while my neighbors mow there lawns in South Carolina's 100f degree summer heat. Item has very good instructions. Very easy to change formats. Was the main reason I picked this camera. Comes with 12volt plug, twist lock video plug, audio rca plug. Not really sure what they claim for specs. But it draws .2amps @12volts in normal mode. 1.2amps @12volts with all the ir-leds on. You my need to know that in a fpv type setup! Anyhow very pleased with this camera and it's waterproof!

Low Quality Cameras. Avoid
Don't buy Zosi. Anything Zosi will fail within about a year. After 3 years of trying, requesting any buying replacements, and frustration, I have to buy 2 completely new systems. Lets start with the support, as you will absolutely need it when their products fail. Customer support is responsive, until they agree to replace something. Then they disappear and have to be tracked down. That said, they only follow scripts for support, and do not have a grasp of the English language. You can send a detailed error description with pictures, and they won't read it, and will ask you to send what you already sent. And then in the middle of an open incident they will assign someone new to your incident who will not read any of the associated history, and you start back at the beginning. Be prepared to take and send pictures of everything before they will even talk to you. Their first solution to EVERY problem, upgrade the firmware. This includes cases when the DVR is completely dead, won't power on. *You can't flash firmware on a dead device. Step 2 is always replace the power cord, again, regardless of what the actual issue is (FYI most people do not have a custom Zosi power cord just sitting around). My favorite trouble shooting step was when my DVR failed to boot, thus nothing displayed on screen, DVR only continuously made a beeping sound. They refused to assist until I sent them a "picture of the beeping sound"...HOW do you take a picture of a beeping "sound?" I bought TWO different DVR systems. Both failed, multiple times. Support cannot grasp that someone might have bought more than 1 DVR from them, even after you provide model numbers, serial numbers, AND order number, all that clearly show different models and purchase dates. They combine all support incidents into 1 incident, and will only discuss the first ticket, and automatically close any new incidents on a different system. Be prepared for a battle and constantly repeating yourself to convince them of anything that does not follow their basic support script. DVR Firmware: Despite trying multiple firmware versions on different models, all models having a time sync and daylight savings abilities in settings that NEVER works. DVRs magically forget time zones continuously (meaning time is wrong), and daylight savings time NEVER adjusts properly, regardless of firmware version. The 5.0 MP cameras and DVR are fairly nice, on those times when they actually work. Decent night vision, easily to access history from app. The app is decent and fairly easy to use. I really liked the 5.0 MP NVR and cameras, on those times when they work. Errors went from completely dead system, system that only beeped (no boot), to finally one that locked up and stopped functioning every day and had to be rebooted daily. ZOSI reports that the 5.0MP cameras are proprietary and will not work with other brands, so they are all expensive throw aways when the DVR fails. The 2.0 MP DVR and camera are not high quality. Night vision is OK at best. Same app as the 5mp system, so good app. Its an ok low end system. DVR User Settings regardless of firmware are very poor on the 2.0MP systems. Cameras often had rolling lines and other picture distortion issues. Even bought line filters, no effect. All DVRs just stopped working. Would not boot, nothing displayed on screen. Cameras are too sensitive to motion, regardless of sensitivity, EVERYTHING sets them off, including tiny little bugs barely visible that are constantly attracted to them, making motion notifications useless as they constantly trigger. The app is usually good, however sporadically it tells you that total number of remote viewers is exceeded and refuses to let you use it for 24 hours. 1 user on 1 device somehow exceeds max number of remote users? Failures. EVERY 2.0 Camera has failed, both types of DVRs (NVR) and all DVR replacements failed, and 2 out of 8 POE Cameras all failed AT MOST within 1.5 years. *They kindly remind you that support only lasts a year! Camera Failures 6 failures: 2.0 MP Camera, model 1AC-1062C-WS-N 4 Failures: 2.0 MP Camera, model 8KN-418W4-00-FBA 4 Failures: 2.0 MP Camera, Associated with DVR 8ZM-252W4-00-US 4 Failures: 2.0 MP unknown model replacement cameras 2 Failures: 5.0 MP Cameras, model IPC-1905E-W-C DVR Failures 2 DVR Failures: H.265+ Full 1080p DVR, Model 8ZM-252W4-00-US 3 DVR Failures: 8MP 4K PoE NVR, Model 8PM-1905W4-20-US All systems are properly surge protected. Cameras are a mix of internal and external (all external cameras are sheltered from direct sun and weather exposure). EVERY 2.0 camera lasted a year at most. I switched to an older 2MP model DVD and cameras from a ZOSI competitor I bought several years back, and using the same camera wiring the ZOSI 2MPs were using, had no picture distortions, and now have a working, reliable DVR and cameras again for 1 location. Don't waste your money on ZOSI. You're basically throwing money away.
