YUDODO Pet Sling Carrier for Small Dogs Cats Puppy Crossbody Bag Carrier

My chihuahua puppy absolutely loves it. I strap him in and he goes with me whenever I'm doing chores or errands. Sometimes he'll pop his head back inside and take a nap. If he's feeling curious he pokes his head out to watch what's going on around him. When he's shy or afraid he pulls his head inside. I'm so happy I found this sling! It's comfortable for the both of us and well-made.

I have 2 chis - one with longer legs (deer), one with short legs (apple). Both under 7 lbs. The measurement chart indicated that the one with longer legs needed a medium, so that’s what I bought. They could both use a smaller bag, but I don’t know how much smaller the small bag is so I don’t know if it would be a better fit. I suspect that the medium is best because it does allow plenty of room for them to stretch out. I put a folded towel or blanket in the bottom of the bag and that adds just enough sturdiness and height so they can comfortably look out of the bag. To be clear, I only carry one of them at a time. As someone with chronic back and shoulder pain, I will say that wearing this bag is uncomfortable fairly quickly. I don’t believe that’s a failure of the bag… it has plenty of padding and the strap is adjustable. However, I would have spent a little more for a bag with a waist strap. I think that would make it even more secure and reduce back fatigue. I haven’t figured out a way to add this to my existing bag. Also would love a d-ring or additional pocket on the outside of the bag for holding leash, keys, etc. tldr; excellent bag overall, medium fits my chihuahuas but needs a little padding for support and better fit, wish it had a waist strap Update: I initially reviewed this bag 4 years ago. It has served me well for 2 chihuahuas (though I think the smaller one could have fit better in the small, I just added a blanket to help her fit the medium and off we went!) It was especially helpful when I took one of them to the vet and needed to be hands free to pay the bill. And as they aged and couldn't walk as far, it was a wonderful way to take them on walks. We have used and loved this bag for many years now, yet it is still in great condition. Both of them have passed now and I am going to buy the updated 3.0 version in small because we are soon adding a new chihuahua baby to the family. I expect we will make many wonderful memories with this bag just like we have with the other one. I know this is a bit emotional for a review, but dog lovers will understand I think. A lot of the bags I have found don't seem secure enough or they hold the dog in an unnatural position. This bag doesn't have those issues and has allowed me to do a lot while also taking care of my dogs as they aged and needed more attention and assistance. Heck I have even cooked and done dishes with one of them in the bag. Now that they're gone, I appreciate it even more. 2026 Update: I bought the 3.0 version in small for my new chihuahua puppy, who isn't yet 3lbs. It's a little big, but the hard bottom makes it easy for her to stand to see out. I think the other versions would work fine as well, though you might need to add some padding (a folded blanket or towel) to bring the bottom up a little if you have a really small puppy. And keep an eye on the closure string... puppies will eat anything! The additional pockets and D-ring are nice on the upgraded bag. I like the more breathable netting material for summertime, but I might need to order the other version with regular material for winter outings. Otherwise it's the same as my original bag. I will update this once she's finished growing if she ends up needing the medium bag. It's always hard to know which size to get. I think there's a good chance she'll fit the small bag forever if she tops out at 5-5.5 lbs based on the fact that the medium bag was a bit big for my other similarly sized chi.

Use: I have a 16 year old Chihuahua that has trouble making the longer walks that my younger dog and I make. I usually end up carrying him about half way through. This makes it difficult to handle my larger dog, so I started to look around for options for my little guy. I found this and thought I'd give it a try. I purchased the used-like new. Pros/Cons: Pros: - Cost: I was a little skeptical buying the used-like new (this was my first experience doing so), but I am very glad I did. I spent about $2 less than the sale price of $19. The price is great for the quality of product - Quality: The carrier I purchased looked brand new without the packaging. The carrier seems very durable, the stitching looks like it is well done, the buckle operated easily, and the material seems like it is good quality material. - Ease of use: This is easy to use. You unzip the pouch, put your dog in, zip it up, pull the pull string to a tightness that is comfortable for your dog, and, if you wish, attach their collar to a clip on the carrier. Cons: - Size: My dog just barely fit in the small. He's a little tall for the pouch, but still fit. If he lays down, he doesn't seem as crowded, but getting him in while standing would not allow me to fully zip up the pouch. If you pet is on the higher end of the recommended weight, you may consider going to the next size up. You may also consider this if your pet is on the taller side as well. Summary: Overall, I am more than happy with the purchase. Again, I purchased the used-like new one, but it really does look like it was new out of box. The quality seems excellent, the price was very cheap, and the ease of use is on the very easy side. I was a little disappointed on the size, but overall it will work with my dog, so as long as he is happy, I am happy. This is one I would recommend.

My 8-lb Havamaltipoo feels surprisingly calm and comfortable in this YUDODO sling carrier. She settles in right away, and it’s perfect for air travel, errands, or anytime I want to keep her close without using a bulky backpack-style carrier. The sling itself is soft, lightweight, and comfortable for both me and my dog. I really appreciate the zipper design for safety, though personally I would have preferred a thick Velcro strap for even easier access. The adjustable belt takes a little getting used to, but once it’s set, it holds very securely. The built-in strap fastener is a great detail—it lets my dog poke her head out while still keeping her body safely inside the sling. The extra pockets are also extremely handy: I can fit my phone, keys, wallet, and small treats with no problem. There’s even a ring and strap attachment for hanging waste bags or other accessories. For around $22, the quality and thoughtfulness of the design exceeded my expectations. Great value, great comfort, and a fantastic choice for small dogs or cats who like to stay close. My only complaint is the product name Yudodo…. You guys need to rebrand Yudodo to something marketable like, so here are some ideas for you: PupNest Sling, SnuggleStrap Carrier, CozyPaws Sling, PupPouch Air, MellowMutt Carrier, CarryCub Sling, or PocketPup Carrier

I like the concept of this bag. It was comfortable to wear. Unfortunately, my Schnauzer puppy was too warm in this bag during the summer time and he was really nervous in it. He wanted to jump out. He loved being carried around in my arms and I was disappointed that this bag didn't work for us. I liked the gray color for it's ability to blend into most outfits that I might wear and it's low profile appearance. The materials have a plastic feel that wasn't very appealing but it wasn't horrible. A sturdy, breathable canvas might be better. For the right dog, say a chilly chihuahua, this bag might be perfect. I would recommend giving it a try. I thought the price was acceptable.

Nice quality

This sling is great! I’ve used it for almost two years with my 4lb morkipoo mix. My dog is 13 years old and just wants to be held all the time. I work at a vet’s office and bring her with me daily - this sling has been to perfect solution to keep her with me hands free. I use it daily at my full time job and it’s held up very well. I appreciate all the pockets so I always have a poop bag. The cinch feature is also great when she wants to “hide” away from everyone. She is a little small for the pouch but it gives her room to lay down and sleep when she wants. The pouch is also comfortable for me to wear daily and I almost don’t notice it anymore. I’ve also thrown it in the wash a few times with no adverse effects. After prolonged use the padding in the back broke through the seam and came out, but it still works well even without it. Overall I’d recommend this pouch to anyone who needs to cart around a small dog.

I cannot recommend this cheap bag to anyone. It started falling apart after less than a year. I've patched it and duct taped it and re-sewn seams and I now can't repair it any more. The outer fabric and the lining are so flimsy, the seam allowance is so thin there is nothing to grip to. I'm so disappointed. This is my second purchase of this carrier. The first one lasted 4 years until the outside piping wore out. It was great.
