Accurate, easy to use
Good device! I use this to measure very thin plastic laminates as customers keep asking me the exact thickness. It has, however, a slight amount of slack when adjusted, but for my purposes it’s precise enough and very functional. I also valued being able to switch between imperial and metric measurements. Good value for the price.

Accuracy so sharp it hurts my feelings
This thing measures down to the tiniest detail, no guesswork, no squinting, just cold hard numbers. Solid build, clear display and it makes me feel like a precision engineer instead of a guy just checking bolts

Beslands Digital Micrometer 0-1" / 0-25mm Digital Micrometer Gauge
Beslands Digital Micrometer 0-1" / 0-25mm Digital Micrometer Gauge Made in China. Has a serial number but no calibration certificate. Decent quality plastic box that should protect the micrometer gauge from all but the most aggressive knocks. A plastic key is suppled for removal of the battery cover, a good idea as use of a coin invariably chews up battery cover slot (obviously I have never done this!). Battery size is CR2032, easy to get. And the spare battery was appreciated. The frame is metal (with a screwed-on plastic overlay on both sides) and rigid. The anvil and spindle are metal. The digital readout and adjustment barrel are plastic. As reported by others, there is slight wobble in the barrel - time will tell if this becomes a problem. There is no wobble in the spindle. Digits on the LCD readout are large and easy to read, and the operating instructions are mercifully concise, with just enough explanation. I purchased a Mitutoyo calibration bar (25mm; cost ~£15-00). The gauge proved to be accurate, within tolerances of the calibration bar and the precision of the micrometer gauge. With the jaws full closed, I zeroed the micrometer gauge. On repeated opening then closing, the readout returned to zero every time – the ratchet mechanism on the adjustment barrel is effective, allowing easy repeatability. (Note: the ratchet mechanism is contained in the large part of the adjustment barrel, the smaller end barrel is fixed – the opposite to my old manual micrometer gauge) I then measured spindle diameters for several DC electric motors. Measurements corresponded accurately to the manufacturers stated motor spindle diameters 95mm, 8mm and 6.35mm). Of note is that the spindle movement is internal, the adjustment barrel does not change in length. This is handy because you do not have to fully close the jaws before placing the unit back into its box. In conclusion, I think this unit is well made and accurate. Keeping in mind the slight wobble in the adjustment barrel, if the electronics are reliable then I think this has been a good purchase, and I look forward to using it soon.

Excellent
Amazing quality, especially considering the price. Checked on a mitutoyo setting bar and measures perfect, goes back to zero every time too. I reset the zero position when I first got it and did it wrong, subsequently it reset to zero every time it powered on. I pressed and held some more buttons again and managed to get it to work properly and remember its position. Can't remember exactly how but it wasn't hard. If it doesn't say 'OK' in the corner then you haven't done it right. That might explain others with similar issues. Excellent addition to my measuring equipment and I have no desire to replace it for a branded one with a certificate.

Absolute Rubbish
At first glance, the product seems promising, housed in a robust case and looking like a sturdy piece of kit. However, that initial feeling of promise lasts for about ten seconds at best. The most disappointing aspect of this product is its wild inaccuracy. Imagine measuring the same item twice, only to get two vastly different results. The machine's claim of measuring in thousandths of a millimetre becomes irrelevant when it measures an item as 0.680mm one moment, and then deems the same item as 0.938mm a minute later. The product's features are more for show than function. After the second measurement, the device fell apart entirely. The fine-tuning spinner, which lacks the necessary torque to be effective, and the main spinner, seemingly held in place by sheer luck, detach completely from the unit with the slightest force. When that happens, the paper-thin metallic spring and retaining ring come out and they absolutely do not go back in. So, back to Amazon it goes.

Really accurate
Definitely worth having these. Tested on some valve shims I have and they read very accurately.
