We go through a lot of rods on our YouTube channel (searchable under the name Stanley Orchard for reference) and I was in need of a small, very lightweight outfit for small-game fishing like Spanish mackerel and trout and this rod deliveries. I paired it with a small 2000 Plusinno reel and it has been fantastic. Great action and flexibility allows for precise casting and makes for a thrilling fight with even the smallest species. I am particularly pleased with the loop attached by the handle to hold lures and the ability to break the rod down for travel.I am very thrifty when it comes to my fishing equipment and prefer to make great finds at Pawn shops and resellers to buying new, but the price for this item new is comparable to anything I have found at local pawn shops with better quality.
