NEW LEVEL Burgundy Acoustic Foam Bass Trap Studio Corner Wall 12" X 7" X 7" (4 PACK)

I'll be very honest. These should be good if you want to absorb mid or high frequency. But for my purpose, it's not dense enough to absorb bass frequency. I put 4 of these in my vocal studio (which is 4x4 feet), in each corner and the room still has a lot of bass frequency which makes the voice you hear sound very muddy. In bigger rooms, it might be better than my purpose because it takes some more distance to travel to the corners before it bounces back. Hence I will give it 3 stars.Fwiw, I once had the super expensive corner bass traps (I won't name the brand but it's a very popular brand that is widely used by musicians and/or engineers); they worked very well. But I gave them away at some point (argh!!). The reason why they were so expensive was because they were very dense, they were heavy, and absorbed bass/mid/high frequency as corner traps should.I'm writing this honest review because I want others who are like me to REALLY know what they are getting before purchasing the item.

Not as dense as some other acoustic foam acoustic I've used, but it's the size I needed and seems to be fairly effective for my application. Also I can pretend it's a T-Rex mouth, so that's an added bonus.

I use these in the ceiling corners of my home studio to soak up some of the room reflection. The only tricky thing is affixing them. I use double-sided removable tape, which sticks to the walls great but does not adhere to foam - so I have to use special hobby foam adhesive to glue the tape to the foam - which is tricky...if you don't do it just right the glue will not adhere. But the foam blocks themselves are very good. I was expecting low quality considering how less expensive they are than Auralex, but the quality is quite high.

The previous owners of my house somehow decided an Air Conditioner return in the TV was a great idea. It's not.However, adding these acoustic foam squares and corners as a lining to the inside of the return, with a little spray adhesive, worked marvelously. Yes, we can still hear the thing, but it can no longer overwhelm the room or TV.They are made of soft, lower density foam, as opposed to tough, high density foam, if you were searching for that detail.They were perfect for my project. Thanks guys!

Well worth the money, it'll take a few to make a noticeable difference.. But I also play drums and live in a house thats 90% tile flooring.

I purchased these corner bass traps for the basement studio I'm putting together as a novice YouTuber and podcaster.I am no acoustical engineer, so I won't comment on the effectiveness of this product versus other options, but I am pleased with my purchase. The previous reviews looked solid and the price was right, so I bought these and was pleased with the quick delivery period and neatly packaged product -- it was wrapped in plastic and boxed so as to protect the foam from crushing.The bass traps are sturdy, aesthetically pleasing, and cut with precision.

These products are sub par and produce ZERO measurable results. My SPL meter indicated absolutely no difference in the room before and after these were installed. Much better options available at a better price for true quality sound treatment foam. A simple google search will yield real products if you look carefully at the source. Do not buy this garbage.

I stacked 2 of these in each wall corner 3/4 up and they rested on my Speaker Brackets so I didn’t need any type adhesive

It is not red, It is pink. Foam density is not suitable, does not feel like acoustic foam at all. I end up putting the whole order including wall panels in the bin. Stay away

They do a good job, but I feel like they are over priced
