Is it a pair of stands ot do you have to order two?

can it be used for a canoe storing it upside down ?(so rain doesn't collect)

Would these hold a 34" wide kayak? It's not heavy, just wondering if the dimensions are workable.

Yes I put my 33" wide boat on them and its very stable. You are really supporting the outer ends of the boat which are narrower.

Yes, when you buy the Suspenz stands, they come 2 to a set & you definitely need one setfor each kayak - one at each end but spaced so the kayak is balanced. They are wonderful. For a while I had 2 kayaks until one was sold recently & had one on the stands and one on my Suspenz rack, along w/my canoe. I use the stands to hold the kayak on the lawn when I wash the boat after a trip because we're salt water and it needs to be washed each time it's used. They have really come in handy. My kayak is 15'. Since you can put the stands any distance apart, they will accommodate most lengths. The kayak shop I use has these and use them for their work on kayaks all the time. My new boat has a rudder and when I put it on the stand, position it so the rudder is well forward of the stand so when you turn the kayak over to wash the bottom, you're not resting on the rudder.
