I was having problems when I would go to sports events and concerts.  Sometimes the seats were so hard I could not enjoy the show.  These are compact and easy to carry and provide just enough cushion.  Great quality.

My wife and I bought these to use when attending all day horse racing where we would be sitting on metal bleachers for the whole day.  They were fine at first, but as the day wore on they became very uncomfortable.  I actually found it easier to sit on the bleachers than to continue using these.  They were much thinner than I would have expected.  If you are planning on sitting for long periods of time with these, I would recommend looking for something with a little more cushion.  If you only need to stay for something about an hour long, then this will work great.
