I bought a similar product decades ago and it turned out to be 'a weapon of self-destruction'. Tossed it immediately. I'm in the middle of a lot of spray painting right now and my trigger finger insisted on trying it again. This product works incredibly. This is so far above and beyond any hopeful expectation I could possibly muster. It never sputters or leaks due to the mechanism, sprays evenly until the can is completely emptied (bone dry). If I had this over the past several years, I can't even imagine how much money I'd save. Spray cans are a pain when they get toward the end. WOW - this is great!

Love these. Bought them to use with Scotchguard, also use them for spray paint. They have fit every can I've tried them with (probably 4 or 5 different brands). They're a little difficult to put on; I put the can face down on a hard surface and, using steady pressure, snap the grip onto place. (I do this on a surface that I won't mind if it gets sprayed, JIC). On the upside, it's a snug fit, so the can doesn't move easily and cause the nozzle to misalign or spray the inside of the handle; but it's loose enough to easily turn the can if I want to. It's easy to take off, but doesn't fall off. The trigger doesn't require a lot of pressure, but it also isn't prone to accidental spraying. The trigger is big enough to use three or four fingers, which helps with fatigue; especially for my wife's small hands. And the spray pattern has a natural feel, much more so than just using the spray nozzle on the can itself. I wish I'd had these from the very first time I used a spray can. When I paused a project, I could just turn the handle to block the nozzle and prevent accidental spraying. Added bonus, my index finger didn't get paint all over it, like has happened to me several times before. (Don't know if that's relevant, I might just suck at using spray paint.)

I think they work well to help. Keep your hands clean from the paint when spraying them it takes some practice to get used to the trigger so not to blast it out hard and cause dripping.

Absolutely LOVE these. They work great and saved time as well as my fingers.

Because of loss of strength and dexterity in my dominant hand, I have had increasing difficulty using aerosol devices. Short sprays or long, just doesn’t work. I’ve given up on spray paint completely because damaging mishaps are inevitable, This item is perfect! Attaching it to a spray can is impossible for me, but apparently not too difficult for those with normal hand strength. I’m still able to use it with my dominant hand, but my non-dominant can also use it effectively. The price point is low enough that I can buy extras so I don’t have to worry about frequent interchanging. I get an appropriately strong spray that I can easily control. At this time I don’t have to be concerned about focusing the spray, but it would be too diffuse and widespread for detail work. The devices themselves aren’t terribly attractive (red and black), more appropriate to a home workshop, but I can always hide my pretty-pretty room fragrance aerosol if I need to!

These are very comfortable to use and very effective at spraying different brands of spray cans. They make spray painting so much easier and cleaner, since you won't be getting the paint all over your fingers. You're able to control the spray much better too compared to using your finger. I have also used them on other spray can products like epoxy remover. The only drawback so far is that the red cap on top will pop off pretty quick. I've super glued them in place, but it still pops off. I tried E6000 and we'll see if that holds. It doesn't appear to affect the functionality of the device, but I'm deducting two stars because it doesn't bode well for the durability of the device. Notably, this one performed way better than the Rust-Oleum branded one I found at Home Depot. It was slightly more expensive, seemed sturdier, and I figured it would outperform these, but I had the exact opposite experience. I returned that one.
