Would these towels be suitable for my short alien friends as beach towels?

How long have you had these alien friends?  Are they about the size of the alien friends Fred and Barney had on the Flintstones?  If that is the case, you actually may have to cut in half and because they are 100% cotton...well, they would fray. But I have a friend who has a friend who knows someone through her brother and she said that they know someone who has a small, short alien friend and that these towel are PERFECT as beach towels.  Then I know of another person (different ocean) who say her little alien friends don't like sand, so no beach, but she used these towels as carpet in the super, super tiny house she build them.  So I would say...ask you alien friends, I know some of them are offended if you ask the wrong questions and may threaten you with bodily harm...if that happens, just show them the only Twilight Zone (that I know of?) with no words spoken starting Agnes Morehead and the tiny alien invaders. How absorbent are these? Do they just push water around the counter?

I love the thinner 100% cotton towels!  I have a few and  like them much more than thicker ones, especially the terrycloth variety.   With this Prime offer, I will get new ones and send the old terrycloth ones to the garage for nasty spills or strictly use them for serious floor messes.  .

I hang them on my oven handle and refrigerator handle to grab when I need to dry my hands, or mop up a spill on my floor or counter top.  A couple of recommendations on kitchen towels in general:  don't wash them with any other laundry because if you have wiped up anything greasy any odor will cling to the other things in the wash.  I save up mine until I have a decent sized load and wash them on the hot setting, with lots of bleach and use a double rinse.

Another tip for reducing the grease/oil that gets in your towels:  use those disposable blue nitril gloves when greasing pans!  When you are finished just pull them off and toss them.
