does this sound bar support HDMI cables?

This one did not support the HDMI, but support optical, RCA, AUX, USB, Bluetooth

No sound on hbomax, but has sound on Netflix?

Will this model improve TV sound quality? I must have a fiber optic cable connection.

I don't understand the question. It improved sound quality three different settings for sound multiple hookups to TV including Bluetooth all for sound TV movie and sports it was just to amplify sound fine-tuning was still done through TV bass and treble hope this helps

I cant pair my soundbar with any phone by bluetooth. i put the input to bluetooth (blue light) and it doesnt come up on my phone.
