Excellent Bike
Had a couple of Halfords Vulcan e bikes before this and had to return both due to problems with free wheeling & the chain coming off. They were good bikes other than their problems, however this is a different class so much more powerful, and really well put together, I'm a big lump 17 stone plus and it pulls my ass no problem, where I live in Cornwall is very hilly and it climbs the steep hills with ease. The range of the battery is excellent with massive storage of 624wh. I love the thing and can't wait to ride it again. I'm quite unfit (but improving) and it's just the tool to get you out there and motivated to ride, the seat is also really comfy and doesn't hurt me like most bikes do! I feel like a kid who has just started riding a bike for the first time. Only I'm 53! Love it!!

This bike is AMAZING. I have bought a few extras for it to make it even better, but even on its own it is brilliant. The acceleration is phenomenal, it is comfortable to ride, and it is clearly well-made. My friend is a bike engineer and he was very impressed (and jealous). The only thing that lets it down is there is no backlight on the control display unit. so it's really hard to use in the dark.

Super bike, very good
Absolutely fantastic bike, has allowed me to take a much nicer route to the station every day, through wood fields and hills that my old commuter could not handle. The way the power comes in at low speed needs getting used to, and you have to be careful with sharp bends when going slowly, as level 6 assistance can be a handful. Would be good if the power level buttons were easier to operate when riding.Mine was delivered with a loose screw in the battery compartment, but it seems to be a spare, cannot find anywhere that it should be, and the one of the hex bolts on the cross bar bottle mounting has been cross threaded. Ive had to fix that, otherwise the important bits like brakes, gears and axels were all pre set perfectly.Frame is heavier than my commuter, and the battery has some heft. Wouldn’t fancy riding it without a charge, but with 85% of charge left after 20km rides, assuming the power level indicator is accurate, that shouldn’t be a problem.Really recommended.

An extraordinary machine
This really is an extraordinary machine. On the basis of the first few short rides, it was clear that it does everything claimed of it and more. It also looks good. The power delivery is smooth and the power available, particularly at level 4 or 5, is astonishing.More recently, I've done a 25 mile trip on fairly hilly terrain, climbing from sea level to over 300 feet and back again, twice, and with the assist level set at 5 for much of the time. At the end, the battery was still just under half full, which is very impressive.Four friends have so far tried the bike; all of them were very impressed and at least two of them are actively thinking of buying one. They seem to be unavailable on Amazon at the moment, so I hope new stocks appear soon, but it seems that they can be bought online from suppliers in France and Germany.

Truly a good ebike for value
This truly is a value ebike. Take it from someone who owns a couple of ebikes. This is the second cheapest I've brought and potentially the most powerful.First and foremost, you're getting a 48v 13amp battery. Not even ebike brands like specialized, Trek or Haibike have batteries that powerful. This gives you over 600watt hours of power.Whilst it is true that most people would prefer an ebike with a mid drive motor, hub motors should not be disregarded as obsolete technology. This bafang motor gives you 250watt nominal, up to 650watt peak. Meaning that this bike will power you through any hill climb.Regarding the speed limit of 25kmh (15.5m), if you are that adamant to achieve higher speeds, there are work arounds. However, I trust that any who chooses to go down this road will exercise caution. As for the frame geometry, I already own ebikes similar to the NCM Moscow so I'm already a fan of it. Making the cables externally routed allows easy access for servicing. And make no mistake, you will need to service the bike due to it using mechanical disk brakes. I'm 6foot 3, and this bike fits me perfectly. I even swapped out the 350mm seatpost for my 400mm seatpost and found that it wasn't even necessary. One positive is the bottle cage mounts on the top of the top tube which I find is actually convenient. Not to sure if I'll stick a bottle holder on there but Its nice to have the option. For those who wish to accessories the NCM Moscow, you may have to pick your purchases carefully. The frame is supporting 29" wheels but I would be dubious whether your could mount a Mudguard on it as there is not much clearance. (Perhaps Mud Huggers or a Topeak Defender would be a viable option). As for Rear racks, you can attach a regular rack but you will need get some P clips.Overall, this bike will be an excellent addition to my fleet and I have no doubt that I'll be using this on trails. A+++

First ebike.
Arrived in about a week and requires some self assembley. Easy to do though as it's just peddles, front wheel and handlebars. All brakes and gears are set up.It's a very smooth ride and it makes hills very easy to tackle. It's taken 10 minutes off my journey to work! The bike is well built and solid and the battery gives a great range. 6 levels of assistance which will effect your battery life depending on what you choose. I go for 5.Slight issues I've had is that the bike is very very heavy. The battery weighs a ton! Big fat tyres provide great grip but equally a lot of friction on the flat. I'm thinking of changing to slicks. The controller comes with kph as default and I've not found any way to change it. Emailed the supplier and googled but nothing! The saddle is not comfy so I recommend a gel cover which makes it slightly less like you're sitting on a brick.Overall, very happy with the purchase!
