Well documented, just like all the others they produce.

Great condition. A lot of this stuff is on the 'net, but accuracy there may be iffy. This is from a solid trustworthy source, and I like being able to write notes that will help if I do something a second time. Instructions/photos are very clear.

I bought this book for my 2005 Chevy Silverado 1500 CC. The info in the manual is good. The step-by-step guides for the parts I worked on were accurate and detailed enough for me to complete the jobs, though I did have to "fill in the blanks" on one or two steps. This is typical of a Haynes manual and in that sense, you will likely be satisfied with your purchase. What I am dissatisfied with is the cheap paper they printed it on. It is the same thin paper that Sears and Roebuck used for their catalogs when Grandpa kept a copy in his outhouse. It is not adequate for an automotive instruction/reference manual that is constantly touched by greasy hands. I have had Haynes manuals in the past (in fact I still have them). The Haynes manual for the MGB and the VW Beetle (both printed many years ago) used thick paper that didn't rip and was up to the task. Also, I miss that they don't use Queen's English any more. That was always good for a chuckle. They taught us "yanks" what a bonnet and a spanner is.

Nice manual to have on hand

I prefer Haynes over Chiltons because they talk to me like I'm an idiot. I prefer Chiltons over Haynes because they don't treat me like I'm an idiot. Huh? Chiltons is geared towards the pro. Haynes towards the novice. Or, like me, the reluctant backyard mechanic. I don't really enjoy working on cars anymore. Haynes will give alot of useless information, but there's alot of important details in there too. Sure you could just look it up on line and I usually do. But when you're right there under the hood you can have the book open next to you. For about $18, yea, I'll do that. I especially like the torque numbers they list. Awesome for a guy that likes to snap bolts. As for Chiltons, a bit over my head. Haynes is a bit under my head. But since cars are no longer designed with the backyard mechanic in mind I figure that if Haynes doesn't cover it then I probably shouldn't be doing it (based upon my abilities). I suggest for anyone that does anything more than oil and lube to pick up a Haynes for any vehicles say 4 or more years old. If you're without a laptop you can place outside then you'll be glad you've got the info right there with you when you need to work on it.

This item is a must have for a do it yourself type or even a capable mechanic. Full of useful information and then some. I returned it because I am more in need of a users manual for my 2003 GMC Sierra. The seller was very good to deal with and comes highly recommended.

Um unseren 2003er Chevy Tahoe im Schuss zu halten, habe ich oft auf dieses Handbuch zurückgegriffen. Wir haben den Chevy verkauft und das Buch mitgegeben, damit auch der heutige Besitzer eine Referenz bereit hat, wenn es an die Wartung geht. Sehr hilfreiches Buch mit allen Drehmomentwerten, die ich benötgite und detaillierten Anleitungen zum Ersatz und zu verschiedenen Einstellungen.

This book has everything u need to know described, i really recomend it if u do work on your car. I have a silverado from 2001.
