Review: Good looking plant - Well packed and very healthy looking proof of pudding will obviously take longer after facing vagaries of english weather as currently still in pot acclimatising. Switched to tnis supplier as last year 11 out of 12 plants (from another supplier) died within 2 months

The tree was healthy with a good root structure and plenty of sturdy branches. I look forward to this maturing in our garden over the next few years. For info this is a very small and young tree, being in a 3 litre pot this is to be expected. If you need something for instant impact you need to buy something bigger and more expensive. This is perfect if you are happy to have something that grows into the space you have for it.

**Q: Are the leaves red all year round or they green at times**
A: The leaves will fall off in the autumn and stay bear through the winter and in spring you will get new fresh dark leaves that stay red all through spring and summer. No they don’t change colour

A: This is sutch an attractive plant. The colour is beautiful and is nice and hardy.  Yes this is evergreen  plant. Sutch pretty leaves

**Q: Has special compost to be used in tub for Acer Garnet ordered yesterday for 1/3/21 delivery**
A: I just used a normal potting compost and my acre was absolutely fine, and soon grew into a nice shape. It has shed its leaves at the moment but that is normal so looking forward to seeing it again in the spring.

### ⭐ Badly Damaged Stick arrived

So this used to be a young tree - then the delivery people got hold of it. The result is a stick and a pile of acer twigs separated from each other. The only two options I have is to try and keep it alive, or return it back to Amazon (where it will clearly die in transit). Avoid this purchase, and pick one up at a garden centre or another seller who will take more care.
