These seem so delicate but were well-packed and arrived in great condition. I immediately rinsed off the tiny Styrofoam flakes that were inside and out but easy to remove, and filled them up. I was pretty excited that the water doesn't just run right out when you flip them over. When you insert them into the soil a few bits of dirt rose into the bird but they seem to be functioning well. After a day, they'd released some water so I guess it's working. Pretty large plants so I wonder if I'll need more birds per plant later. The birds are a little more detailed than I expected. Tiny little eyes and beaks included. Have already refilled them. Maybe I should have actually watered the plant first.

These are the cutest ones I've found! The amount of water it holds is great for a small houseplant; I had it in a hanging basket but the water didn't last long, which isn't the product's fault. I decided to return them though and switch to plastic because I dropped a glass one from another company and it shattered (even though it said "durable" glass; I should've known better - how durable can glass be?). If I wasn't so clumsy I would keep these for sure!

These are glass and very nice. Easy to fill and put in pot. I added all 3 to pots yesterday. 2 held their water, 1 emptied within 10 minutes. I retried a couple of times and decided 2 of 3 working was good, they still look nice. I tried again the next day after realizing the pot was dry. I watered it and then added the bird full of water; it has had water in it all day now. One of the others is now dry, the plant may have needed it. The 3rd is still full of water.

I bought bird shaped globes just like these in the past and wanted to add a few more. These are much smaller than the original globes I bought. Only contains 3 oz of water, including the stem. Still cute. I made the incorrect assumption I was buying the same bird watering globes, which hold twice that amount of water. To avoid disappointment, check size. Physical measurements are there but I did not see anywhere in the listing as to how many ounces these globes could hold.

My friend was going on a vacation, and I didn’t want to have to stop by every other day to check on the plants. This is allowing me to stop by less often, while making sure that the plants get the hydration they need. I add plant food into the water as well. If you put it straight like in the picture, it’s going to be the slowest release. If you put it on an angle, the water is going to drop faster. So you can kinda control the release, which is pretty cool. The glass birds were well packed and arrived in perfect condition. One idea would be to offer different sizes.

Really like these. They are a cute shape but clear so they really just blend in especially if you use them in a larger plant. They were really easy to fill, I prefer just filling at the sink on low then using the funnel as it does cause air bubbles. I saw photos of putting a small piece of fabric at the bottom with a rubber band which helps not as much dirt get in and easier to take in and out without spilling the water. The first time i put them in i did not water my plants and they lasted a few days. Second time i put them in after i watered and they lasted about a week. Definitely depends on your climate im sure. I plan on using them for my plants they like to be more consistently damp to help between watering but they will definitely help as well for going in vacation. For larger plants i think youd need a few in the pot for a week but smaller one should do the trick! They seem sturdy but are a thin glass. I would handle them with care.

These are the cutest little glass flamingos! I was surprised how well these work and are super easy to fill. Very versatile as you can use them for house or outdoor plants. Disclaimer: these are made out of glass so you have to be careful with them. So, if you have young kiddos who are fascinated by flamingos like my friend’s kid is, they may accidentally grab one and break it. Luckily, I have three more so not a big deal. Overall, it’s a great deal for 4 of them!
