Your pot will scratch overs a short period of time
I bought this pot and the frying pan last year. It retains heat and cooks evenly. However it is not scratch resistant. I use silicon utensils for and have always hand washed only so I am not sure how the scratch has come about. Good pot though because it cooks evenly and makes me feel comfortable that I am not consuming chemical that has leached from the pot ( hopefully)
