Magic: the Gathering Journey into Nyx Fat Pack

These are well worth the money if you can get them around $30-$40. Beyond that, you are paying a lot per pack. I love the whole package with the storage boxes, the land packs, the life counter, and of course, the 9 packs that come with it. These are. Great way to start a collection. They are reasonable when first released and give you everything you need, especially in conjunction with the starter sets. The two deck holders are fairly worthless since they are flimsy card stock quality, but I still give this a 5 star for all that is included beyond that. If you are just getting into MTG, get these and some starter sets and you have the beginning of your collection without having to buy booster boxes. That can happen later once you have a good foundation.

Journey into Nyx was a really good 3rd set and it was the newest release when I started playing Magic, so this fat pack was one of my first major Magic purchases. I got no Mythics in my fat pack but when you buy them you understand the risk that there's a chance you won't get anything worth your money. However it can be fairly easy to make the money you spent back with one of these if you get the right pulls.

Comes with a nice 20 sided spin-down die, with the 20 side being the Journey into the Nyx logo. 2 card boxes are included, but can't hold cards that are sleeved. 80-land cards (great if you are just getting into Magic), and 9-booster packs. Full-color booklet is included showing all the cards from the set. The sleeve cover un-wraps to reveal a cool little poster. Planning on buying one of each set and making a big collage. The box itself is great for storing bulk cards, and it looks cool! All in all, these are great if you are the collector type. If you are just starting out, these are fine as well, but you may want to look into getting a Deck Builder's toolkit, or a starter/event deck instead. If you are just looking for more cards, stick to booster packs.

I bought this pack to make a new deck and improve my deck building skills (which it did), plus I got a great pull with Ajani, Mentor of Heroes which was an awesome card and my friend freaked out when I told him about it. So, all in all this was a great deck and you should definitely buy it. The card box was also epic.

I ordered this later in the evening, and it arrived less than 12 hours later. The packaging was minimal and the product arrived as described. Every time I order something that has Prime, it's usually there the next day. This was no exception. The fat pack has 9 boosters, 2 deck boxes, visual guide, a Spindown life counter, and card storage box. I paid around $30 for the fat pack, the MSRP is $39.95. I saved almost $10 AND pulled over $50 worth of rares.

This was my second fat pack and it is a bit small. Its a very nice box though and that is why I bought it as well as for hydra tokens. I also have the Born of the Gods pack and the cards are similar.

Ordered from Planet Comics for a cheaper price. Shipped much faster than Amazon said. Comes with 9 packs and about 100 mana. The box itself is great for carrying several decks, dice, and sideboard. The packs were great, I made half my money back with one card. 10/10 would get again.

This comes in an absolutely beautiful box, with nine booster packs and a cool little spindown counter. The man box itself is gorgeous, and the cardboard surrounding it actually has a poster on the back so I feel like I got a lot for my money! However, the deck boxes are flimsy and cheap and I probably won't be using them, so that was a little disappointing. Overall, though, it's a fantastic set and worth the price!

Ich habe mir diese Fatbox bereits 2 mal gekauft und bin damit absolut zufrieden. Für den preis 9 Booster, die Box zum Karten aufbewahren und nen Lebenspunktwürfel ist vollkommen in Ordnung. Hab bei bei jeder der beiden Boxen 2 mythics aus den Boostern gezogen. Das einzige negative an diesem Fat Pack ist die Verpackung. Da könnte das Paket 2 mal reinpassen.

After watching a few unboxing videos on Youtube and being blown away by the fantastic art and fantasy settings I decided to take the plunge. I was really surprised bu how well put together the MTG fat packs are, it includes a brilliant players guide to the specific series which introduces the theme of the set and some really interesting lore as well as the all important card list. The fat pack comes with 9 booster packs, each booster pack includes a whopping 15 cards, which for £22 (the price I paid) is a great amount of cards. The box itself that houses all the goodies has plenty of room to house your collection and looks great presented on a shelf. In conclusion, for a first time MTG collector I can't say whether my pulls were decent or not, I got two holographic cards and two god cards which I was plenty pleased with, so all in all a great purchase!

Hallöchen, Ich gebe hier eine deutsche Rezension ab. für die deutschen Magic Spieler, die aber nichts gegen die englischen Karten. Bei Journey into Nyx handelt es sich um die neueste Edition. Alle Karten, sowie das Regelbuch, sind englisch. Das große Paket, in welches das "Fat Pack", bei mir ankam, ist vielleicht etwas zu groß ,da 2 solcher Packs hinein passen würden. Aber das nur so am Rande : ) Der Inhalt hat mich wirklich überrascht! EIn wirklich schön gestaltetes Regelbuch, 2 Deck Boxen ( Nur Karten ohne Folien ) , Lebenspunkte Würfel ( sowas hab ich gebraucht XD) , 9 Booster und die Länder Karten. Für jeden sollte sich etwas in den Boostern finden lassen, aber natürliches ist es reines Glück, ob man gute Karten bekommt, aber die Wahrscheinlichkeit ist hoch. Die Box besteht aus stabilen Karton und kann fürs Karten Lagern gut verwendet werden. Einziger Minuspunkt: An der einen Ecke war die Schutzfolie der Box aufgerissen. Für manche kein Problem ,kann auch mal vorkommen, aber der Riss war sehr groß und somit für mich ein - . So, hoffe, ich konnte helfen, viel Spaß! - R.
