Cuisinart GR-4N 5-in-1 Silver Griddler, Black Dials, and Waffle Plates Bundle

Love this product. I don't have a lot of room in my new kitchen so multi-use appliances are essential. It might be too heavy for little kids to access on their own, but my elementary through college age kids can use it with ease. We love the fact that you can change from pancakes to waffles, to pannini, to whatever at the flip of a griddle. It's good quality and durable as mine gets lots of use. The dials are a little confusing -- the directions are clear if you read them, but still doable if you're the "let's just try it" type.

I wanted an easy to clean waffle maker and this is absolutely perfect. It takes some practice to get down the right length of time to cook for (I found the times in the recipe book to be a good benchmark starting point, but I like a crispier waffle so I usually go longer), but it cooks evenly and thoroughly. The very best part is of course the ease if cleaning. Removing and installing the plates takes literally seconds, and it is super easy, I just clean the surface with a soft non-abrasive brush and soap and then air dry most of the way and get the little corners with a towel. I have not tested the grill or griddle plates yet, but I am excited to try them, especially excited to try fully splaying it open to use two griddle plates. I got this for Christmas but lemme tell you I would have bought it myself if I hadn't and I would have regretted nothing. Love it.

I never use a aerosol oil on non stick cookware. It will degrade the surface . Use regular oil or butter. That said the waffle and grill plates clean up like a breeze. The drip oil pan is great and the scraper provided with this set helps clean out all the oil from burgers from between grooves. This cooker cooks steaks and I can count on how they are going to come out as long as I stay with known thickness and time. The machine gives consistent results. The price was the best at the time on the internet.

I purchased this griddle 4 1/2 years ago! Still going strong even after using it at least once per week. We bought the waffle plates and it has become a multi-kitchen appliance. The only sad thing about it is because my waffle mixture is extra sticky and I spray with avacodo oil, and the oil sometimes gets below the plates and burns the inside of the base brown a bit. We've needed to clean it before and that is not fun. I like how the plates can be removed and washed separately to make things easier. The heat is evenly distributed on the plates and so there's never uneven cooking. I'm not sure of why there are different knob settings but I use them properly to get the best use and results. I give it 4 3/4 stars!

Perfect panini

I can make four waffles at once. Compared to one at a time this is amazing. I can make waffles for everyone in the time it used to take to make waffles just for 2/6. First time I used it I even had time and energy left to whip up a whole second batch just to freeze. Super easy to clean too. Stuck on food an crud washes right off. If only my soul were so easy to keep clean.

The Cuisinart ‘Griddler’ is nice and versatile. Easy to use and easy to clean. Small enough for a midsize kitchen. The griddle plates come off for easy cleaning. Presses panini’s and forms perfect waffles. I would buy again.

Must be fully heated up for good waffles and pancakes, does paining and grilled cheese quickly and fully melts cheese.
