I bought this thinking there would actually be some actual light given off of this like a lamp. It's more of a "glow". BUT it's super cute, and everyone who passes by my desk loves the blue glowing octopus with a top hat, mustache and monocle.

This guy is wicked cute! His light is just about right for our bathroom at night. Much bigger than anticipated. I envisioned softball size but he is easily double that. Charges quickly via USB, which is super handy. Glad I bought it.
