I have thin hair. My mother had very thin, baby like hair. My father was part American Indian with thick black hair. I inherited the thin hair with just a bit more than my mother. My hair has continued to thin as I age and it breaks easily--I am now 65 years old. Rogaine has kept my hair thick enough to wear my hair to shoulder length. With Rogaine I have continual hair growth that covers most of my scalp. My thin hair is a bit thicker and does not break as easily. I use a scalp coverage powdered product to cover my scalp. Between the Rogaine and the scalp coverage nobody knows the difference. Believe me, my daughter would bring it to my attention if she knew the difference. But she has NOT noticed. I have continual hair growth and a bit thicker hair with the 5% Rogaine for women. My hair does not break as easily. AND, I have avoided the HOT wig choice. Wigs are hot and never look just right on me. Very happy long term Rogaine user--happy they have the 5% formula.

I've been using most mornings for four weeks. I do notice it's a little harder to find the thinning spots in the crown of my head to rub this in than it was a month ago. There does seem to be new growth. I'm also taking 2 Priorin pills each day as well which may or may not be skewing the results. Those are hair vitamins I bought in Switzerland. I do find it a bit of a nuisance to rub this into my hair when it's dry. I like to apply it to my damp scalp after a shower. I towel dry then put it on and rub it in, but I don't wash my hair every day when I shower so sometimes I have to put it on my dry scalp. Oh well. I would advice turning the bottle completely upside down before spraying the foam or only air will come out of the bottle.

I've been using this product for a while now and for me it has worked. I have seen SOME hair growth but have seen a substantial difference in hair loss. The results are slow but worth it in my opinion. I have been using this in combination with biotin and have been happy with the results. Will continue to use.

Use this product as part of maintenance. No new growth of hair.

The product works fine for the hair. But do not use any Rogaine if you have high blood pressure. Mine went all the way to 258 until I figured out what was causing it. I couldn't find this warning in the product, but did find it on a 2003 medical blog. They said it was rare, but it happened to me. It also said this stuff has not been tested on people over 65. I stopped using it immediately when I figured it out. In 4 days pressure has dropped to 150's and goes down each day. Be warned.

I was EXTREMELY skeptical but figured, what do I have to lose. I applied a small amount of this product daily on the scalp, where my hair part was thinning, at night and washed my hair in the morning, and after about 2 weeks noticed less hair falling out. After about 5-6 weeks the thinning area started to look better! After 4 months it was almost completely unnoticeable! This product works!! You must use it daily and continue to use it; DO NOT give up after a week or so thinking it don’t work! If you have thinning hair try this product, stick with it, and unless you have a medical condition that is making your hair fall out, IT WILL WORK!
