One cold morning I went to open the 5 gallon bucket to show the students all the sap in the bucket and I couldn't get the bucket open. Three other adults also tried and could not open them and we were surrounded by sad 6 year olds who were very disapointed we could not open the buckets. Then I bought this and was able to open the buckets! Even the 5 and 6 year olds were able to open the buckets with this tool. 10000000/10 recommend!

**Q: Is that the correct weight?  1.6 oz?**
A: No...it's true weight is 5 5/8's oz.  Just shy of 6 oz.  At least according to my scale.

A: Sorry, don't know what a gamma seal lid is.But it works fantastically well for typical 5 gallon pail lids. I'll never use my fingers again!

Better than a plastic equivalent, I don't expect it to break. Geometry is a little not as good as my plastic one, but works well enough. I would purchase again.
