My 2.5 year old son is wearing a 6/6.5. I ordered the sz 6/sz23 and it fits fine. I probably could have order the next size and it would have been fine with a tad more room to grow. I ordered these because I had already bought a pair for his sister and they have held up great for her. My daughter is 4 and has wide feet with a high bridge and wears a 10 and I was very happy with how they fit her feet. My advice, if your child has a narrow foot do not size up even if they are at the halfway marker (6.5, 7.5, 8.5 etc.). If your child has a wider foot you might be happy to find cute shows that fit your child I their size. I bought mine for $12-13. I would not pay $20. That defeats the purpose for me personally. The color is really cute and accurately represented on-screen. The white rubber is SUPER white -- like almost neon if there's such a thing as neon white. It shows dirt easily, but I have not tried to clean it yet. I think a Magic Eraser would do the trick. The style is adorable and a more affordable alternative to Converse or Keds.As stated by other reviewers, these definitely run large. My daughter is around a 9-9.5 Toddler, and the 9s in these fit her more like a 10. We will be keeping them since she has room to grow, and the elastic keeps them on her feet with no problem. She has a pudgy foot and said they were too tight at first, but I can tell they have already stretched out some. The first day she wore it though, it was misting outside and the shoes got a little damp. The Pink color bled all over the white parts on the front and bottom of the shoes. Looks a little silly now but she will wear them bc it i what it is. She did have pink dye on her feet that eventually wore off..oh well.
