I've been trying different premium car waxes, and the Pinnacle Souveran is one of the better that I've found in this price range. To be honest, my cars are still almost new, and so just about any wax puts a wonderful shine on them. Indeed, at the moment, I have part of my car waxed with the Souveran and part with a few other waxes, and I really can't tell any difference in terms of how the finish looks. Part of me believes that if you do your prep work properly - thorough washing, clay and/or polish, then wax...well, any good quality wax is going to give you a wonderful finish. To me then, the differences between the $20 wax and the $100 wax come down to things like speed and ease of application, plus longevity of the shine. I found the Souveran to be among the fastest and easiest waxes I've ever used in terms of application. Using the provided foam applicator, it goes on easily - and a very small amount goes a long way. As a few other reviewers comment, it even smells wonderful...sort of a sweet and nutty aroma. It goes on almost clear, and unlike some waxes, if you get it on your black trim, it doesn't leave chalky white marks and is easy to clean off. Working by hand, it also buffs off quite easily and uniformly, leaving no trace of unevenness or swirl marks of any sort. Just a nice thin layer of protection. It took me well under an hour to wax and buff the entire car, and it seems to me that the resulting finish is at least as good as I've obtained with any other wax. No claims of "three dimensional" or "wet" from me...but it is what I'd call a nice, "honest" shine that brings out the best while looking very smooth and uniform, even on dark finishes. I use it on Audi black paint (which I always find difficult to get an extremely smooth and streak-free shine), and it really looks terrific. As for longevity, I always suspect a lot depends on how you treat your car in terms of washing. One of my cars is totally pampered...lives in the garage, never gets driven in the rain, always washed by hand using high quality and gentle shampoos. I waxed this car with Souveran about three months ago, and it still seems to be about the same as when I first waxed it, especially in terms of how it beads water. One of my other cars isn't quite so lucky...it lives in the garage, but it's driven through all sorts of weather and usually gets taken to the car wash rather than washed by hand. The harsh detergents mean this car looks like it could use another waxing after more like a month. Thus the claims of 1-3 months are probably reasonable, and what you get probably depends on how you treat your car. So is it worth nearly a hundred bucks? To me, yes. For one thing, I like the overall look of the finished car...if it didn't have that, I don't care what the price might be. I like that it goes on quickly, meaning I can get a great shine in about half the time as some other waxes. Then there's the fact that a little goes a long way...my best guess is that I'll probably get maybe 20-25 waxes out of a single jar. At four or five dollars a wax, this doesn't feel like a high price. But this isn't to say that there aren't also plenty of other terrific waxes out there in this same price range. Still, if you're looking for a terrific wax, Pinnacle Souveran deserves an audition.

Easy to apply and wipe off. I am 91 years old and applied the Penacle on my new Kia Ev9 and the results were out standing. The ivory silver paint looks fantastic and the project took About 3 hours Be sure and have at least ten thick soft microfiber towels and change frequently

This carnauba wax has become my ALL TIME favorite wax for ALL my cars and the airplane. I have half empty bottles of various waxes in the garage, but this one is my go to. And, it's one of the EASIEST waxes I've ever used. Just dab a TINY amount on the freshly washed vehicle, in a front to back direction (NOT in circles), then almost IMMEDIATELY wipe and polish with a clean microfiber towel, and SHAZAM! You've got a shine as deep as the Marianas Trench. Sure, it's a bit pricey, but the pain of higher price diminishes much faster than the agony of poor quality. Plus, a little dab'll do ya. Go for it.

I recently spent 9 months and $$$$ on a complete bare metal repaint of my vintage Porsche 911. After countless hours of prep, the car was sprayed with the correct Glasurit single stage in Bahia Red, just as it left the factory back in 1971. After allowing the new paint to cure properly for 6 months, it was time for the first appliation of wax. I did a lot of research looking for the absolute best wax product to apply to my new (and expensive) paintjob. I finally decided to go with Pinnacle Souveran Paste Wax, and applied it this past weekend. I was really surprised at how easily it went down, and even more surprised with how easily it buffed off (application and buffing done by hand). The fact that it can buffed off without waiting for it to dry to a haze is a definite plus in my opnion. Upon finishing the job, I rolled the car out onto the driveway and into the sunlight, and all I can say is the end result is absolutely stunning! The color really pops, and the reflections are mirror-like. Sure, $100 seems like a lot of money for a can of wax, however, based on the amount of product I used for the first application, it looks like there will be enough to do this car at least 20 times.

This stuff is fantastic! I waxed my daily driver with it today. I didn't want to try it on my R8 until I felt confident that it would look good and I knew how to apply it. Yes, it is expensive but my time, and yours, is valuable. By my calculations, this wax paid for itself the first time I used it and according to the label, I should have 24 more applications left! I would say that it took less than a third of the time as Turtle Wax. Previously I had thought all waxes were similar and that to get a nice protective coating on my car, I had to struggle with buffing off the excess wax. Apparently that's not the case! The Pinnacle is designed to be buffed off immediately. I was skeptical, but after doing half of my hood, I found it buffed beautifully with minimal effort. Then I stepped back and looked. It was like night and day between the half with Pinnacle and the other side. The Pinnacle brought new life to my 6 year old paint job - Aruba blue A4. Not only is it easy to apply, it doesn't leave white paste in places that you miss when buffing. It doesn't leave a whole bunch of white dust all over everything like normal wax. It doesn't leave white stuff all over the black plastic areas under the bumper or around the lights. It also hides most scratches!! That I didn't expect. I think this wax is easily worth the price. I'd buy it again if it were just for the time savings. I'd also buy it again if it were just for the fact that it doesn't leave hard white wax everywhere you don't want it.

Yes, this is arguably the wettest looking carnauba wax on the market. Yes, it is the easiest to apply/remove too. Yes, the depth of sheen is mind blowing. Yes, it is “oily” (for lack of a better word) when you apply it, but it doesn’t feel oily when you buff it...really amazing. Yes, it smells amazing! But let’s be realistic. This product is best suited for people with high end vehicles that stay garaged most of the time. This is because those cars typically have been through multi-step paint correction processes and are not exposed to the elements. So the paint is virtually perfect, and that’s what makes this wax pop. In other words, this wax is to show off! It is definitely way overkill for a commuter car. Also, don’t expect this wax to look great if you just wash the car and jump straight into waxing. But that’s true for all waxes. Amazing wax. From everything I’ve tried this is the best looking so far. It really makes the car look wet more than other products.
