Most brush bristles are either way to soft, and are pretty useless, or so stiff it hurts your face to use them. While small, this brush uses boars hair and, unlike most boars hair brushes, it's just right. The bristles are soft enough that your face doesn't suffer, yet firm enough to do the job. While some may say it's too small, I would say that it fits your hand very well and the small indentations make it easy to hold without slipping while using the brush. All-in-all, I would say this is the best brush I have used in the 3 years I've been growing my beard. The brush isn't cheap, but quality usually isn't. ### ⭐⭐ Way too soft *by G***. on Reviewed in the United States on July 20, 2019* The brush is actually OK, but giving only two starts for lying about being good for long hair/bear. It is very obviously not.This has the same firmness as other brands "soft" models. It would be a 5star product if they advertised as such. If you have a very short or sparse beard the bristles are a little stiff. But its not bad.
