I continue to buy this brand of biotin. I do think it helps with my hair, my nails even my skin doesn’t seem as dry. I will continue buying this one.. they’re easy to swallow no aftertaste. You do some research the reasonably priced.

I thought maybe the results were in my head, (no pun intended) but the pony tail I’m now able to put in my hair doesn’t lie. About a year and a half ago I went from deep dark red to bright white blonde , and I love it! But there was damage and I had to get a cut. I thought my hair always grows back in no time... well it did, before I was blonde and needed to go in every 6 weeks to get them roots covered, then one day I realized not only was my hair not getting longer, it was getting shorter and shorter . Finally at my last appt I told my stylist I’m attempting to grow out my hair, she started not cutting anything and just giving me a slight dusting and told me about the zenagen treatment for hair growth. I ordered some and have been using it now about 4 months (since my last appt) I’ve since grown about an inch into my hair (able to measure by my roots) I held off as long as I could before my next appt, the pandemic helped big time with that, but I was able to get in with my stylist for her reopening this week and still wasn’t totally happy with the length of my hair, ide really wanted it to be a little longer before I go get it colored again so I started researching supplements. These ones seemed to have the best results so I ordered a bottle and started taking them immediately once they arrived. I saw they had some negative side effects with acne so I also really made sure I took better care of my skin and so far I don’t have any break outs AND after only a very short time period my hair is THICKER!!! I am now able to get it into a pony tail without looking like a sumo wrestler. That’s one solid week of taking these. Will update after a month with pics. Deff try these!! They are amazing! Just keep up with your skin care Update: just had my first trim after a summer of taking these (well since May) and because of these pills I was able to make my hair look healthy without ruining my growth goals. I had ALOT of breakage from bleaching and hot tools and I was taking a break from getting hair cuts cuz I want to grow my hair out, but it just kept breaking and breaking. I got my last haircut in February and then left my hair alone, but it still wasn’t growing how it used to, so I found these. This is now my second bottle and let me tell you THEY WORK!!! I take them every day , and also no break outs here. I swear by these now. This was the best find ever . Thank you for giving me a chance at growing my hair back healthy.

I have found the perfect biotin!! I love taking biotin for my hair and nails but most biotin products go right through me and don't absorb well. I was looking for something with a good carrier oil and this has coconut oil, which is perfect. The 5000 mcg is the right amount I want to take; any more and my face starts breaking out. These are small, easy to swallow and no breakouts! But more than that, I've noticed the hair around my face (my edges) filling in and thickening, my eyelashes are longer and the sparse areas in my eyebrows have started filling in. Granted, I also take a bamboo supplement, but I have heard that they work really well together and I've definitely seen results. I wanted to add 1000 mcg more and I started taking another Sports Research supplement, the multi-collagen w/biotin, but I only take one of those for that extra 1000 mcg (there's a separate review on that). All in all, I am very happy with this product and this is the only biotin I take!

My hair is highly dense but composed of fine stands, quite long (if let down, longest layer is 23"), wavy, and hasn't been colored in 6+ years. I don't take it daily, probably 3-5 times a week in conjunction with vitaFusion Women's daily gummies (5,400 mcg of biotin between the two supplements). I'm pleased with the results despite my intermittent use of the supplement. I haven't experienced skin/face/scalp breakouts like others who have reviewed the product but I don't have a high weekly intake. 30-days: I noticed there was not as much shedding after showers or letting my hair air dry and that it felt smoother. 60-days: many co-workers/friends complimented how healthy and thick my tresses looked. I started noticing about the same time my roots felt fuller and thicker. 90-days: There is a significant amount of new growth (short and somewhat thicker strands that look frizzy because they aren't long enough to lay flat), most of the new growth is between 1-2" long. I can only describe the new, fuller hair growth as an undercoat that will eventually add a decent amount of volume. HOWEVER - there has been one unforeseen side affect of this product that I wasn't expecting - my new hair growth is SILVER. I started getting gray/colorless strands ~12 years ago but I didn't expect a dramatic increase of silver strands when taking supplements for hair growth. Correlation is not causation but it's something I have noticed and thought may help curious customers. I will continue to take these at the current, casual rate and enjoy intended benefits as well as the accelerated propulsion into SilverFox status.

First off, this one bottle lasted me about 3 months! And it really isn't a bad price considering this is miraculous potion in a pill. I didn't buy it for growth, but to repair and strengthen... but GROW it did! I bought these because I have extreme PTSD and the stress along with an autoimmune issue had my hair and nails in rather poor shape. I had great, thick hair, but it thinned and was shedding all over. My nails were easily broken. Just being in the water for 5 mins made them so soft that they bent backwards (que nails on chalkboard feeling). I bought this bottle afterI did loads of research to find WHICH of all the available brands would be best. Some are diluted, others the capsule was made out of less-than-ideal material. Then I stumbled upon this jewel. It had the walk to back the talk and so I bought it. Within the first week I didn't really notice much, so I started drinking a little more water. I work outside a LOT and will dehydrate easily. So make sure you drink just a tad more while taking this to let it get in your system better! After week 2, I noticed my hair wasn't falling out as much and my nails had needed to be trimmed. By the 4th week, my hair had grown a measurable amount. I wish I had taken numbers down, but GROWTH wasn't on my mind as much as strengthening was. So that's why I spaced it. From 5th week and on, my hair was strong, not falling out, it got shiny, like L'oreal commercials! And my nails were SO much stronger. I work outside, as I said, and I was bending and breaking my nails, even cut really shortly, all of the time. It was driving me insane. But after taking these capsules (I took once in the morning and once in the night until week 4, then only took one a day ongoing), I felt a difference in the thickness and strength of my nails. I even felt a difference in my skin! I cut my nails once every week and a half! Overall, these capsules work very well. The coating is made of vegetable product. It is TASTELESS. They are smaller than a pea. Or right around that size. And they are so slick, you can't tell you are swallowing them! I will remain on these probably forever. I love them that much. Look no further if you need to repair your skin, hair, and nails, and not just grow them. A lot a pills can grow your hair and nails and still not strengthen. This does all of it!

I love these biotin supplements. They are actually very small and I can swallow them very easily. I take 2 a day since 10000mcg is the daily recommend maximum intake of biotin and my hair, nails, and skin have seen a significant difference. My hair suffers a lot mostly because I love to experiment with color and bleach my roots every 2-3 months. In the past when I did this before the biotin I noticed that my hair was stunted in growth. It was hard to even grow a quarter of an inch a month and it was stressful to see. I tried everything from eating better to not touching my hair all together but it didn't help much. After introducing the biotin to my daily routine I can say that the biotin now helps me grow 3/4 of an inch each month. I can comfortably get a trim from my trusted hairdresser and not have to worry about my hair not growing. I used to have thin hair to where my scalp was noticeable but now my hair has grown out thicker and more strands seem to be growing out and you can no longer see big gapping holes in my hairline. I will say that although the hair on my head grows faster, the hair everywhere else does as well. I don't mind that so much, but for those people who don't want to keep up with shaving then I would not suggest this for you. My nails have never been brittle, but before the biotin I would say they were average. I never worried about them chipping but after the biotin my nails are absolutely amazing. Not only do they grow very fast, but they are also rock solid. I cannot bend them and they cannot be peeled or picked at either. I do notice that when I have to cut my nails that if I'm not careful they do go flying off because I need to apply so much force to cut them. My skin has also seen great improvements as well. My skin before was a sickly pale color. I'm fair skinned so everything is completely noticeable if I have a problem. Ive gone through severe acne as a teen, I still have redness around my noise and cheeks, I still suffer from acne as an adult, And I produce more oil than you can imagine. I've always had problems. Before buying I was wary of all those reviewers who commented that buying this for acne prone skin was a bad combination, but I did not have that problem. Although I do suffer from acne, it has calmed quite a bit, but the biotin actually helped the health of my skin substantially. I have a nice, healthy color now, my skin isn't as oily, and I have less breakouts since starting the biotin. For those of you who are scared of the biotin creating breakouts and cystic acne I would recommend boat loads of water. I will say that I am not shy in the amount of water I consume. I estimate a gallon everyday. I actually tested my theory out to see if water played a role in creating the acne. I purposefully drank less water than I normally would and lo and behold cystic acne appeared. They were painful, but once I began to consume the amount of water I would regularly I noticed no acne and the cystic pimples that appeared started to shrink. Overall, drink a lot of water, expect to see changes all over your body, and if your having a bad reaction to the biotin then stop taking it. I know that what works for me will not work for everyone, but I love this product and recommend it to anyone who is looking for stronger skin, hair and nails.

I have been using this brand for quit a while, mostly due to hair loss after bariatric surgery. I have noticed the difference and the hair in the front slowly but surely growing back. They are very easy to swallow and do not leave an after taste, and they are small in size. My nails have grown a lot since taking them, I have even had to cut them down to their current length because they were getting too long too fast. The quality is top tier and the best value for my money that I have spent in a while. I will continue to buy this brand each time, and would refer them to anyone.

I’ve been taking the Sports Research® Biotin 10,000mcg for a couple of months, and there are definitely some great things about it. The softgels are easy to take (no weird aftertaste), and I really appreciate that they’re vegan, non-GMO, and free of gluten and soy. The inclusion of organic coconut oil is a nice touch and likely helps with absorption. That said, while I did notice improvement in the length and overall health of my hair, this supplement unfortunately triggered some acne flare-ups for me. I already deal with hormonal acne, and this seemed to make it worse. Most likely due to the biotin. It’s a bummer because the product is clearly potent and effective in other ways. If you don’t have sensitive or acne-prone skin, this might be a fantastic option. But if you’re like me and have existing hormonal acne, just proceed with caution. For me, it's a solid 3-star product—great benefits, but not without drawbacks.

Ummmm alright. I'm a huge skeptic when it comes to ANY product that promotes hair growth, etc. However, as a 25 year old male with a DECENT full beard I found myself looking and researching all over about the different types of things I can use/do to help my beard and mustache grow even thicker. I read good things about Biotin products, and after doing some digging on Amazon I decided to go with this Biotin product. I've been using this product (5000mcg) daily since late October 2020, and either I'm going crazy or this stuff seriously actually works (FOR ME). I haven't changed anything in terms of diet, physical activity, sleep schedule, etc. The only difference in the last two months is that I started taking this product, and I swear to you my hair everywhere on my body is growing much darker, thicker, and even longer. I'm not only talking about my beard though, I'm talking everything! Pubic areas, chest, back, arms, etc. Granted, I already grow hair in all of these places but for the most part it's not much; however in the last 2 months I notice a much darker thick colour to the hairs in these places, making it more noticeable. I truly believe that I see a pretty big difference in myself and my hair growth when using this product, but what seals the deal for me is my wife noticing WITHOUT ME EVEN MENTIONING that I've been taking Biotin. I told her about it when she noticed that I'm becoming a bit more hairy, but it just confirms my case when using this product. What I'd like readers (if there are any hah) to keep in mind is that: I already had a full beard and long hair and hair on the rest of my body. My beard just wasn't overly thick and dark like I wanted it to be, and my body hair is not much. I imagine that if you already have pretty good or decent hair genes, that a product like this can help accelerate that a little bit, which I believe to be my case. I'm fortunate enough to have good hair throughout my family, but this product seems to be helping me better achieve my goals for my facial hair. Needless to say that I've been a very happy customer so far, and will now be ordering my second bottle to make sure I don't run out. The only question is whether I risk stepping up to the 10,000mcg dose or not... Haha P.s I know this is an important aspect as well, which is the pill size. The pills are very very small, if I can take them ANYONE can (yes, even you who has the fear of taking pills like I did for my whole life). This is actually a good pill to get comfortable with, and acquainted with swallowing pills. It helped me overcome that odd "phobia". Great pill size, pretty decent taste too being it's coconut oil, and just a darn good product overall.

My mother-in-law was using this and felt it helped with her thinning hair and brittle fingernails. She suggested it to me about a year ago and I have been taking it ever since. I know my nails are stronger and I can say that my hair is no thinner in this time period. I don't honestly know if it is any thicker. I recommend it.

Please don’t take this if you are prone to acne or have sensitive skin or oily skin , I start taking it with new skin regime, and it is already June , so I thought break out from the cream and the humidity, but I stopped all my skin care to see , and still new pimples and now I figured out two month of taking this it caused my breakout, even in my neck ?! What ?! No thank you, and my hair didn’t notice any difference ! Take care and do your research, always when you notice any side affects stop and rethink.

This purchase was good. After using this vitamin my nails became strong and hair condition getting better, less hair fall. So, I continue using this vitamin. It works good!
