Columbia 300 White Dot Scarlet Bowling Ball (8)

I bought this ball late last year. This ball has several chips ranging from small to large. Now I need a new ball. The only good thing about this ball is it is a pretty ball. Not real happy.

I use this ball all the time now when I'm bowling on league night. I was using a Brunswick Rhino ball which is "not supposed to hook to much" but the lanes are so dry I was hooking into the Jersey side of the head pin. This ball still gives me some hook but it keeps me on the correct side of the head pin and into the 1-3 pocket. I haven't hooked by the 10 pin spare with this ball like I did with the "Rhino". I usually bowl at only 13 to 14.5 mph with some decent revs but I don't overdo it, just for reference. I haven't had to over-throw or change my style with this ball to get it into the 1-3 pocket like I was doing with the "Rhino". Believe me when I bowl, it's the bowler not the ball that's the problem, but this ball has made league night much easier.

I just recently took up bowling and wanted my own ball vs a 'house' ball so I could have consistancy. This ball had a color and character I liked without breaking my budget, although I still hope to get a viz a ball some day!

Amazing ball ever

I wanted to improve my consistency of picking up my 10 pins, so I purchased this Columbia 300 spare ball. I average 205 in several leagues but I occasionally throw a 180 because I may miss a couple of 10 pins. I’ve bowled 15 games since purchasing this ball and I haven’t missed a 10 pin yet! I know I will miss eventually, but 10 pins are not something I worry about anymore and my average has gone up 15 pins!
