Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser 16 Ounce

I was recommended by my dermatologist to use this a few years ago. I was skeptical because it doesn't say ANYWHERE on the bottle that it is for acne and that was the reason why I even went to the dermatologist. Well, it hasn't gotten rid of my acne but it sure does clean my skin well. I use this 2 times a day. Once in the morning and once before going to bed. To use it I splash some water on my face and use 1 pump of this cleanser and apply it all over my face and neck. I rinse off and then pat dry with a clean towel. I have noticed that this stuff doesn't make my face dry and it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin, and also this stuff will take make up off. Waterproof mascara doesn't stand a chance against Cetaphil. I would recommend anyone to try this stuff out. Just don't expect it to clear up your acne like I did. Haha. I also like to pair this cleanser up with the Cetaphil Lotion.

I love this product. I have acne prone, oily combo skin and I have been using a prescribed acne product and they recommended me to use this cleanser because it is very gentle and cleans very well. I will keep using this product for the rest of my life. I use this to take off my makeup, it doesn't take off 100% of my eye makeup but I will just use a makeup removing wipe before hand. Must try.

I think I tried this for the first time after getting a tattoo because it is a non-drying soap-free cleanser. This time, I bought it for camping/traveling because no water is needed. It's better than baby wipes as far as feeling showered without a shower goes.

I like this product. I purchased it when i met two different women in the same week with fantastic skin and both said they used this product. I have very dry skin and this product does not dry out your skin too terribly. I still apply sunscreen afterwards in the daytime and a mousturizing night cream in the evenings but I could probably do without adding anything occassionally. It goes on a bit greasy/slimy but that only lasts a few seconds until it mixes with the water. I like that the scent is barely noticable as well.

I have been using this dermatologist recommended skin care product for years. I have never had a problem and love the fact it’s fragrance free. It is better than many of the fancy cosmetic company skin care products which excessively mark up their offerings. It cleans but does not dry out my skin. Love it.

I really love this cleanser because not only does it NOT dry out my face, it clears acne within days. I use this once, maybe twice a day and my acne has looked noticably clearer!!! You really do get your moneys worth with this stuff.

Use on my son with eczema. It's helped by not trying his skin during baths. He's 11 months old we wash his hair with this . Because he also gets dry clusters through his scalp to . Really sore from itching it gets bad sometimes. Cetaphil lotion didn't work for us , we had to use something thick and greasy . But the cetaphil wash theres NOTHING more mild and sensitive on the market

An awesome face cleanser you would love to have at home. It came in good condition, nice and well packaged. And this is actually a big bottle just like it appears here in Amazon and it would last you a long time. It leaves my face feeling soft and cleaned after each wash. No, it doesn't dry your face out after washing, not at all. I would high recommend it to anyone.

I've been using this on and off since a dermatologist recommended it to me as a teenager. I've experimented with fancier cleansers and some very expensive ones, but I keep coming back to Cetaphil. It's great for all kinds of skin and is very gentle. I'm not always great at remembering to wash my face at night, and sometimes I even forget to take my make-up off even though I know that's a huge no-no. Cetaphil makes it so easy! In the morning I use it just like a regular face wash, but in the evening I just pat it gently on my skin without water and then carefully wipe it off. It takes 30 seconds and I'm done. Cetaphil also works really well with the Clarisonic or other electric face brushes. If you have a problem with blackheads or whiteheads, or if your skin is dry and patchy and won't absorb moisturizer properly (my skin does all of these things!) I would really recommend trying Cetaphil with an electric facial brush. It will help exfoliate your skin to keep blackheads at bay, and it also allows for better penetration by the products you use afterwards.

To set the tone of this review: I haven't had even the slightest hint of a breakout since I started using this product. This stuff is perfect. It's gentle and it ACTUALLY cleans your skin- hard to actually measure this but I literally haven't had a single spot appear since I started using it about two months ago. I'm also using 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide twice per day but previously I was using Simple and was still getting intermittent breakouts, even with the Peroxide. Works well as a shaving foam for people with sensitive/acne-prone skin as well. The price is very reasonable considering it's in a HUGE bottle. Highly recommended :)

This is the only product that helps my skin. I couldn't find it in the UK and my skin acted up even after trying loads of prescription creams etc. Finally found it here and my skin is perfect - miracle product!
