Review: I don’t mind the smell - I’m not good at reviews but I will try so here I go, I came back to this cleanser this past spring and my acne was worse at this time and tried to figure out what could help and treat my acne so I decided to cleanse my face first than after that I cleansed my face again with coconut oil to massage the acne areas really good and used a quick steam from hot water on my wash cloth to pressed down with pressure on my acne and then I rinsed my face with cold water, pat dry and then I applied vitamin c cream and than a moisturizer. I continue to do the same routine for the next how many weeks, my acne started to get better the coconut oil helped my acne out because it was irritated and inflamed at the same time, and my skin started to look better than ever and after that I started to add salicylic acid toner to also help with my acne and all of a sudden my face has cleared up but every month I would break out with just one or two pimples which I don’t mind but I am in a better place for the first time in a long time as I struggled with acne since age 20 now I am 40 years old and much happier than ever, this is what works best for me for me only but this won’t work for everyone so I’m just sharing my experiences.

**Q: is it oil free and fragrance free?**
A: If you are sensitive to fragrance, stay away from this stuff. Talk about "in your face"! I never imagined Cetaphil would add fragrance to any anything, so I didn't check before I bought it... an awful mistake! I tried it on my arm to see if the smell would go away, but had to get it off of my skin immediately.

**Q: How long last one bottle if used twice a day?**
A: Thank you. If you use 3 presses once a day 16 ounces will last you 216 days. Always use warm water to wash and cooler water for the rinse. Dry the skin using a blotting pressure and do not rub or drag across the skin with the drying towel. Always use a clean towel changed twice a week and do not share the towel. Thank you, batteryBob

**Q: hey so i have super super super sensitive skin but I am also acne prone should I try the gentle skin cleanser or the normal to oily ?**
A: I have very sensitive skin and I use the normal to oily. I apply lotion after and I’m good to good. I’ve used it for years! The creamy gentle wash doesn’t give me that clean feeling I like I also feel like it makes my face red. The newer version of this wash stings my face and makes it very red and almost swollen.

**Q: What's the difference between this (Cetaphil daily facial cleanser) and Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser?**
A: Glad you asked! Too many people are not reading the container carefully. The Gentle Skin Cleanser looks milky, has little to no fragrance, and is so gentle I use it only in winter. The Daily Facial Cleanser has a strong fragrance and makes an outstanding body wash if you don't mind the fragrance. They look identical except for the wording on the label, so if ordering from Amazon, make sure the one you ordered is the one you receive!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Gentle on combination skin with adult acne - LOVE IT

I really love Cetaphil products. I have also purchased the Gentle Skin Cleanser Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser, For all skin types, 16-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 2) , which also works well as a face wash. This one is clear, a little thicker and foams up a bit. The Gentle Skin Cleanser is white and a little thinner. I also find that this one has a slight scent to it, but not overwhelming. Overall I love it. I have purchased the generic brands before (i.e., Up and Up / Equate) and honestly they don't work as well. My skin tends to break out when I use the generic brands, but this one works great. I have combination skin with some acne in the general t-zone places. Nothing too crazy, mostly just red bumps and white-heads. This does a good job of keeping my skin clean but not drying my skin out too much. It doesn't really remove makeup well on it's own, so I use a makeup remover wipe Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes & Wipes, Night Calming, 25 Count (Pack of 6) first then I use this, and I feel like it takes care of any remaining makeup. Overall I love it and I won't use any other brand.
