They were brighter within the first 15 minutes, but we noticed that the red lights lasted DAYS!!! After they popped, which they did sitting in the sun the next day (expected), at night we noticed that the red lights were still blinking.....then a day later STILL BLINKING, a day after that STILL BLINKING! Yes, the blues/greens/whites/etc stop working pretty quickly but those red lights will go for days no joke.
