Game changer for cloth diapers!
Decided to use cloth diapers with my baby and was horrified by how much water sprays all over the place when trying to clean poop off diapers. Yuck! Bought this Spray Pal based on a friendโs recommendation and itโs a game changer! No more dirty water spraying all over the place. No more wet floors. No more struggling to scrape poop off. Just nice, clean, poop free cloth diapers. Love how easy it was to use. Great quality product. Highly recommend!!!

SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY! (Alternate title: just buy it already!)
Let me begin by saying I was a complete and utter skeptic and didn't want to "waste" money on this. I was an IDIOT. If you cloth diaper and use a diaper sprayer, you NEED this. I have been cloth diapering my newborn (we use bumgenius 4.0's) and I finally broke down and purchased one. It makes cleaning up solids ridiculously easy. When I first unpackaged it, I thought to myself, "ok this is basically a big piece of plastic with a chip clip and snaps. But let's give it a shot." Yes, the design is simplistic, but it WORKS. The solid waste sprays into the toilet rather than you, your entire bathroom, and/or innocent bystanders. Plus it cleans up well and dries fast. Using this product allows me to better utilize my diaper sprayer which in turn, prevents my diapers from staining and keeps my washing machine from becoming a sewer waste management facility. So if you're on the fence, just buy it already. It's WORTH it.

Great for my cloth diapers and potty training needs!
I have used my spraypal for 2.5 years now. I researched what I needed to be successful and comfortable cloth diapering, and I registered for a spray pal sprayer and shield. I didnโt get gifted it but it was my 1st purchase I made after my baby shower. I will tell you right now, itโs worth it. My friend tried to create their own out of a clipboard and plastic folders, then a bucket and clips. Itโs just not the same. It sits in my toilet as a good fit between diapers and wipes (I spray every other day for diapers.) The clip is strong enough to hold an all in one diaper without issue, and it still clips close enough to clip even a cloth wipe or liner without extra support. The sprayer is amazing too. I have bought the old and the new model. I only bought the new one because I dropped my sprayer really hard on the tile floor and broke it. Their company owners are amazing and I am sure they would have helped me out, but I had it for 2 years and wanted to try out the new model anyway. Now Iโve used the shield with 2 in cloth...and now 1 in cloth and a potty trainer. This thing might be even more important to me for potty training. I took my kid to school. She had a poop accident and the teacher asked if I wanted to throw out her spiked undies. I was blown away. She said most parents do! I said no way. I put them in a wetbag. When I got home I flipped them inside out, clipped them in my spraypal and spray them. Then into the wash it goes! No stains! No wasted underwear! I also spray my daughters potty. She is tiny and isnโt comfortable on the big toilet. So she uses hers and dumps it. I spray it with Clorox spray and take the sprayer and spray it out! No touching poop! No poop water splatter!!! Itโs worth the money.

Keeps my bathroom from diaper splatter
This spray shield is essential for my cloth diaper routine. Every #2 diaper gets sprayed before going in the wash to get the solids off. The way the shield folds open is a little tricky while handling a diaper in one hand full of yuck and trying ot get it placed without the shield splattering shut on my arms, however once you get used to it, it's very do-able. I love that it has plastic snaps to keep it shut and not let the spray go all over the place and the clip on top is very strong, however it does tend to get gross stuff stuck in it and is not pleasant to clean, but what is when dealing with diaper things. It folds nice and flat and stores easily in a hanging wetbag when not in use. I love that Spray pal is a small family owned business and I feel great supporting them. The only complaint I have is that after about 6 months one of the snaps broke off, but the shield is still totally use-able so I don't feel it is a huge deal, I probably could have contacted them for a replacement but I didn't feel the need. If you are looking for something to keep toilet water coating your bathroom and yourself while cleaning your cloth diapers I highly recommend this product

No spraying everywhere!
I was expecting to still get sprayed while using the splatter shield, so I started spraying really slowly. I soon realized that it doesnโt get water everywhere and fits perfectly in the toilet. This makes cloth diapering so convenient!

Not too sold on this splatter shield for cloth diaper rinsing
I bought this accessory to see if it would speed up poop rinsing and maybe even incentivize enlisting helpers in the household to take on the task after my rookie dad attempted to spray one and got poo everywhere but the toilet. It was a little cumbersome for me to manipulate this tool one handed (and spray with the other) while not having to touch other surfaces throughout the clean up process. I didn't even bother trying the squishing down part with this. Too much cross contamination unbuttoning and transferring and all that, to clean this up in our small guest bathroom where the rinsing gets done. It might make more sense if you have a bathtub or shower in your work area. I just get my hands dirty and learned the right touch with the bidet sprayer to control spray pressure, and have plenty of soap for clean up after. Put it on your baby registry and hope someone else spends the money on your CD journey. Seemed a bit much to me. Update: Moved to a new house with smaller, lower toilets and I'm glad I didn't chuck this in the trash! Rinsing work is now in a bathroom with a shower, which makes clean up and sanitizing the shield much more practical. Still a pain compared to my old way, but it gets the job done for two kids in cloth! My hands still get dirty but this is a very useful tool to contain back spray especially with these older toilets we have now.

love it, worth the money to me
I love my Spray Pal! I'm all for supporting a small business, especially for a product made in the USA. Keep that in mind when you consider cost. I bought it while I was pregnant with our third baby who would be Cloth diapers from birth. After seeing it online, I was convinced I needed it. My husband always hated the overspray on the toilet and floor when spraying out diapers from our 2nd child, and even just one pair of toddler underwear with poop in it from our first child (who took forever to potty train) would have made this worthwhile to me!!!! I sprayed out the first diaper cover with meconium on it when we came home from the hospital with baby #3, but after that passed we didn't really use it for 6 months because she is breastfed and wasn't on solids. Now she is 10 months and eats a variety of solids in addition to breastmilk and the Spray Pal is a necessary part of our cloth diapering routine! I store it in a big orange 5 gallon bucket from the local orange home improvement store that I covered in pretty contact paper. I leave it snapped open because it is ready when I need it and I use rubber gloves to put the dirty diaper in the clip. I have not had the chance lately to clean it but when it sits in the toilet it does get in the dirty water on the inside and outside, so you either need to clean it very well or have a good storage space where you can put a dirty drippy wet spray pal. My husband left a diaper hanging in it standing up in the bucket and the plastic warped a bit from the weight. It seems to work just fine anyway. Nice strong clip and snaps. Well made. Is there really any *perfect* way to deal with poop anyway? For what it is, it is great and I recommend it highly. We use it every day and will continue to use it until our youngest is potty trained. Even after it may come in handy time to time too. (Can we say vomit clean up?!)

Could not be happier with this product
I could not be more thankful for this Spray Pal! I have had it for several months now and I don't know what I ever did without it. I spent months spraying off my daughter's dirty diapers without this and would make such a mess around the toilet and occasional even have dirty water sprayed onto me....that I would then have to clean up as well. This has solved all of my issues and makes cloth diapering much more tolerable! This was absolutely worth every penny. Pros: - Very easy to use. Just clip the diaper on and snap the Spray Pal together and spray away. - This completely eliminates any overspray onto the surrounding toilet area and completely contains any of the "dirty" from the diaper into the toilet. - Allows me to clean the diaper almost completely before putting into the diaper pale which helps eliminate smell and staining of the cloth diaper - Very easy to keep clean as you just spray it off as you are cleaning the diaper - Folds up flat and easily kept conveniently right by the toilet. - The clip at the top is easy to use and large enough to grab the cloth diaper well so it doesn't fall into the toilet. - The perfect size to easily fit down below the rim of the toilet so all the "dirty" from the diaper is sure to not escape.

Absolute life saver
If you plan on getting cloth diapers, YOU WILL NEED THIS. It makes spraying off dirty diapers a significantly less harrowing task. You do not want that splatter going everywhere. The spray shield is durable, easy to clean, and super simple to set up.

Life saver!
I only wish this had some more coverage at the top above where the clip is, for when spraying. Sometimes the water still gets on me. Overall this has been a lifesaver for spraying down my cloth diapers

Good quality and idea
Good quality and idea, however I find the front of it restrictive when trying to hose and think it would be easier to use a simple clip board
