he looks bettr than the stock picture in amazon. definetly a liv boy doll u want for your kids liv girl dolls. th only boy made so get him while u can as these liv dolls are discontinued due to low profits. anyways he has articulation in the knee, ankle, wrists, elbows, head, not sure about the hips as im keeping him in the box for display. he is very handsome. he cant wear wigs bcause he has rooted hair but still good for playtime, much more manlier looking than Ken dolls. he comes with glasses, red shirt and shorts. no shos, has glass eyes too, dark blue ones. his feet are bigger than girl liv dolls so if u wantd to put their sneakers on him u CANT. but im sur maybe som ken shoes would fit him not 100% sure though as im not taking him out of the box.

This doll, bought on Amazon, was bought as a model for making doll's clothes. He was new in box or NIB no damage to him and little to no damage to his box. His joints move well and he arrived carefully packed to keep him from damage. The seller shipped him late, but since I was not keeping track the overnight delivery was barely noted until I saw the note inside letting me know that the doll had been sent late. I thank the seller very much for making sure I didn't have to wait too long for delivery. He makes a fine addition to the girl dolls and they'll all be wearing OOAK outfits in the near future.I am very pleased with this purchase. :-)

Recently purchased this Jake doll for a project I am doing. He's my fourth one, but the first one I ordered through Amazon. The doll is good quality for a playline doll. He has glass eyes like the female Liv dolls, but his hair is rooted. Joints at neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, torso, hips/upper legs, double knee joints, and ankle joint. Hair cut, which is short with a side part, can be choppy depending on the doll, but easily fixed by messing with it or giving a slight snip to it yourself. Can usually wear clothing from other playline fashion dolls in the market, but there are several Jake outfits out there. I've tried him in some Ken clothes and they tend to fit nicely. His skin tone is a tan color, a little lighter than earlier Alexis dolls but slightly darker than Danielle's. He does not come with shoes, but like I said he can fit other male playline doll shoes or you can get them in the clothing sets for Jake. I've gotten him in some Ken and male Monster High shoes. Some Jake dolls come with their right hand really squished because of the rubber band around it to hold his shades in the box. Some heat from a hairdryer or a really quick dip in some boiling water and manipulating with the hands should help de-squish it some. Kids, be sure to get an adult to help with heating up the doll hand. The shades can sometimes come bent because of how it is in the box but gentle heating and manipulating can help with that too. The clothing is what you'd expect from playline, but really not that bad at all. Face paint is nice, masculine without being to harsh. Eyes are a dark to medium blue. They are smaller than the girl's eyes, in case you wanted to know. He's 1/6th size so roughly 11.5 to 12 inches tall. And that's about it. Oh, if you work him just right he can stand on his own, but I wouldn't do it near anything that he can potentially ruin if he did fall, just thought I'd mention it for those who may buy him for the purpose I have...online photostory/comic for those who are curious. There's a lot to like about this doll. His eyes are realistic, his joints are fanastic, and he fits into basic Barbie clothes. I got this doll a while ago since I wanted to relive my childhood, and I don't regret this purchase. I am glad I bought this doll. The quality and details on it are beautiful. The eyes shimmer in the light and the hair feels better than the average doll's. This doll makes such a great gift and collector's item. Buy it when you can, or you'll be missing out.

We are not big fans of Ken so it took us awhile to choose a boy for our doll family.His hair combs nice and his face is good.My only complaint is the clothes sets are crazy expensive.I hear that they can be found cheaper off line in 99 cent discount stores due to the Liv doll line being dicontinued .I wish I could find som

My daughter has liked the Liv dolls better then the barbie dolls. Im glad they finally made a boy Liv doll. He does not come with wig hair, but that does not seem to bother my daughter. She liked the wigs for the girl dolls because the doll can have long or short hair and I don't think she would want Jake to have hair any longer then it is! The posability of this doll is the best part. Compared to a Ken, Jake can stand on his own in many different poses. So far Jake has been very durable as all of our other liv dolls.

So sad he was the only boy made. I simply adore Jake and have bought many of him. This guy does not come with shoes, but Ken shoes and Monster High shoes tend to fit him as well as Ken clothing.

I wish they would have come out with more male Liv dolls. But I don't think they ever will since the canceled Livs. So mad about that.

Great doll, can pose easily and all joints are bendable. Great gift for boys and girls 6-12 but shame the company only made one boy for the Liv collection. Great purchase.

LIV dolls are fantastic, not only do they have their own individual style but it is great how they have jointed arms and legs that make them so poseable and flexible, we love this range and its a shame they no longer manufacture them.
