Lavazza, Descaler Liquid, Coffee Machine Descaler

I use this every month since the water in my area is really hard, even with a filter on my line. Hard water builds up fast in coffee machines, and I’ve noticed it makes a real difference in how the coffee tastes if I let it go too long. I always use a Lavazza machine because the taste is just better, so keeping it properly descaled matters to me.This descaler does the job well. It clears out the buildup and leaves the machine running clean, and the coffee tastes fresh again right after using it. Easy to pour in, run through the machine, and rinse out, nothing complicated about it.If you live somewhere with hard water like I do, this is just part of keeping your machine in good shape. It works simple and does what it’s supposed to.

Genuine and great quality

I trusted the product because it was specifically made for the machine I use. I thought it was expensive for single use and so only used half recommended amount for descaling.

Whatever’s in this descaler, it’s very safe and effective for Lavazza pod coffee makers. I descaled a Lavazza pod coffee maker with an acidic descaler - one that’s widely available in all U.K. supermarkets and after one dose there was zero difference. After a few weeks I tried again, only this time water was leaking out of the machine. It was uneconomical to fix so it was binned. I bought another Lavazza pod coffee maker and when it needed descaling I used the albeit more expensive Lavazza recommended descaler. This time the machine worked 100% better - heating up 20% faster and better tasting coffee AND there were no leaks! My only gripe is this Lavazza descaler since Brexit is really difficult to source, this purchase from Amazon came from Portugal!!!

Follow the you tube video of lavanzza as easy to follow instructions and safe . Nothing complicated. Will buy it again every 3 months . I uniquely use mineral water for my coffee but it had some hard calcs built in the container . It seems to be a necessary care .

Arrived quickly, well packaged. Just a small 250 ml bottle of liquid. Followed all instructions but my machine would only output hot water for a a maximum of 4 seconds. This took ages to clean and still not that much better so had to continue putting the ‘old’ flushed solution through many times before the machine would function again properly. For the price I think a larger bottle would’ve served better.

I ended up phoning the Lavazza helpline the first time I used it and they talked me through the process. They were brilliant and talked me through it well
