Green Tones 3765 Egg Shaker Handle Maracas, inch

I own several instruments from Hohner's Green Tones line: the Beginner Drum set, Temple Blocks, frog castanet, and the Kokoriko. Unfortunately, the egg-shaped maracas are my least favorite of them all. I am very disappointed in them. The maracas are very quiet; the sound is diluted. (Which if you do not want something loud, I suppose that may be a good thing) Even shaking very hard, they barely make much noise. Sound aside, they are of nice quality. The surface is smooth. They are smaller than I anticipated, but that works well for me as I purchased this for my infant. He can hold them quite well and does not seem to care they are very quiet for maracas.Knowing what I know now, I would not purchase this again.

Broken after a month of light use. This could have been dangerous for my 6 month old, the top came off, paint chipped, and all the little beads inside went everywhere!!

These are smaller than I thought. I didn't read too much into the descriptions though.My son liked them and they're perfect size for toddler hands!The color chips if baby bangs them on a hard surface but they're pretty sturdy aside from that.Good buy!

Don’t think they’re meant for a teething baby!! Really cute maracas; my daughter loves them, they’re perfect for little hands. Only downfall is she’s 10 months old and teething so she managed to remove some of the paint off with her little teeth.

It was as described a child toy

We absolutely love these! They’re the perfect size for little hands! The sounds they make are perfect too, not loud enough to be distracting or annoying but just loud enough to hear and keep interest! Plus they make cute little sounds when my little one knocks them together :) I love that these are high quality, non toxic and safe for my littles!!

Great for infants to grasp as they are their size. They make a sound when they are shaken but the sound is conveniently quiet. The paint chips off if played with a little rough. Overall great product.

They are great for my 8 month old. I would give them 4 or 5 stars but one of the maracas' paint was chipped/cracked after the first day. I can't return them but hoping a new set will be sent as I have filed a claim.
