The tab on the end of the plastic cord had been melted off when the package was sealed, and so it would not remain attached to the vehicle when the cap is removed for fueling. desertcart refunded that one and I ordered another. It is a perfect replacement for the original. The seal is tight and solved the check engine light issue.

It was easy to install, took less than five minutes and cleared my check engine light after I disconnected the ground terminal on my battery waited a couple of minutes and put the battery cable back on. It’s been a couple of weeks still no check engine light coming back 👍
