This thing looks and feels smaller than it is, the angled roundness and blacked out scheme make it discrete on the wrist, hiding its thickness which is nice.It has all the standard features from stop watch to timer, easy to see even though its not one of the new MIP displays. It has acceptable for me viewability in low light, its not going to be perfect but that's the price for discrete inverted display.It helps that the cuff band is nice as it curves around the wrist instead of bending against due to cheaper watches floppy hinges. It makes it more comfortable and sit more appropriately on the wrist.The time is at the bottom and so closer to the front of your wrist, easier to see quickly. Its soft extra wide and more premium feeling than the cheaper watches.The backlight is very bright and clear.The few gripes are this, it doesn't show the clock time in timer mode in the corner like with the squares, it just has animation there instead, and the timer doesn't have an auto loop cycle.I've included a low light picture for reference.Very good day to day watch.

It’s just like my old G-shock that I wore when deployed in the dessert back in 11’. Instead f all white, I got this matte black one instead which is a great change of pace. The back light is more readable than before with a blue backlight. The changing of time zones, dates and time was easy to adjust just like my old one. The format is great, changing the modes to timer/stopwatch, other times was easygoing. The only difficulty I had was figuring out the mute and alarm but other than that, it’ll serve as a great time piece with a 7yr batt life, instead of a 5yr life. This will be my go-to for another decade.

Literally the best watch I have ever owned. This watch has dates programmed all the way until 2099. So if you're like me and you want your watch to keep the time and date without ever having to worry about it or setting it, this is the watch for you. This watch is for you athletes who might beat up your watch on runs/hikes/swims and need a tough watch to handle it all. If you are looking for a luxury watch that you can wear on interviews and formal occasions, this watch will also work (depending on what kind of person you are and what style you have). But this watch is really for everyday users who need a shock resistant watch, with really easy readability and quick time telling with a digital display. At first I was skeptical of the black face and white numbers and how difficult it was going to be to read it, but after using it for years, I have never had a difficulty reading the watch. I have taken this watch on climbs at Joshua Tree, swims in the ocean, and runs all over the place. What is really amazing and convenient is that after a long day getting your watch beat up and dirty, you can take it with you in the shower, wash it off and not have to worry about anything since it is water resistant up to 200 meters! On top of that, this watch has a very accurate 0.1 second stopwatch if you are in need of timing your runs or sprints or keeping track of laps in the pool. It has 31 time zones, world time, and 5 independent alarms for you travelers. Battery life is said to last 7 years and I have yet to change my battery since I've purchased it. I have bought over 15 watches trying to find the best everyday watch, and this is by far the best one!

This is a great everyday sports watch. It feels durable, comfortable to wear, and looks good without being too bulky. It keeps time accurately and handles daily activities really well. I like it a lot and would recommend it.

I have owned this watch for over a year now, and have had ample time to assess it. It is definitely X-Large, which I prefer in a watch. The illumination is bright and the build on the G-Shock watches are unmistakably tough and well done. This watch has a stopwatch, daylight savings time function if you are unfortunate like me and live somewhere that for some reason still observes that crap, is water resistant, a cool second ticker, day/date, and the ability to customize a couple of time zones that you can quickly switch between. I am sure there are more functions that i am forgetting about or just don't use, like an alarm (my smartphone bears that burden). The watch also looks very cool and rugged. I work in a hospital, so this watch has been beat, banged, washed, and disinfected more times than I can count and it still looks like the day I bought it. The only downside, which I dinged it a star for because it is pretty significant, is the fact that the watch noticeably loses time...I expected better timekeeping from Casio, as I bought one of their most basic watches and it kept time like a champ for as long as I had it. However, I find that every 3-4 months I am having to reset the seconds because it will be about 10-15 seconds ahead. Now it may not sound like much, but come on, timekeeping is really the only thing I expect a watch to do an excellent job of. Overall, though I am happy with the purchase

Definitely a keeper for years to come! I bought this because it’s the same exact watch Chris Pratt’s Owen Grady wore in the 2015 film Jurassic World. And i can definitely say it kept to that rugged aesthetic and lifestyle piece. I wore it working blue collar work as well as in the rain and in various dirty conditions, even while washing my hands which I typically get lots of water splash on my wrists while washing hands, and it did nothing but keep functioning perfectly! I’m glad i spent the money for this, the value is essentially per dollar and more, is what you’re getting!

Husband needs a watch for boot camp. This watch came in handy and is very durable

Die Uhr ist super und in der bekannten Casio-G-Shock-Qualität. Die Uhr ist allerdings extrem schwer ablesbar (ich bin 47 ;-) ), da sehr dunkel. Man braucht fast ständig die Lichtfunktion. Ich habe sie jetzt meinem Sohn (14 Jahre) überlassen und er hat damit keine Probleme. Ansonsten eine TOP Uhr für einen guten Preis. Aufgrund der Ablesbarkeit musste ich aber einen Stern abziehen.

Got this watch today & I like it. I have use eye glasses to see things close& this watch is easy to read without eye glasses. The flash works awesome and it flashes and beeps every hour, that's if you you have the flash turned on. The light is very bright and mine is a bluish color
