PLEASE NOTE that body waxes, whether hard or soft are NOT meant to be used on unprepared skin. I’m thinking that’s why some had a bad/unfortunate result. This is straight from an aesthetician. NEVER put wax directly on skin. You need to prep the skin. You can buy pre and post waxing treatments or use ingredients gathered at home. I’ll give you simple recipes for them.... To simplify; Pre-Wax basic treatment- you can use a washcloth with a pre-made mixture of a few drops of mild unscented liquid soap, water, witch hazel and a light oil such as sunflower oil. Wipe the area to be waxed well and let dry. This prep will take off dead skin cells, previous product residue and the oil will protect the skin. After area is dried, apply talcum powder or cornstarch to the area and rub lightly into skin. Brush off excess.Then wax away! Soft wax is not intended to be used on the same area twice during the same waxing but if your skin is reacting well, you can touch up areas the wax missed with another pass. Now for the post treatment; Post-Wax treatment- After waxing use a mixture of aloe, water and a light oil. If you have essential oils and can tolerate them, you can add a drop or two of either chamomile, copaiba,, lavender or another skin soothing essential oil to your mixture. If you don’t have the essential oils that’s ok. Just rub in the mixture onto the freshly waxed area and it will soothe and hydrate the skin and helps get any residual wax off. I hope this helps.! I used this wax last night on my son’s leg to demonstrate. He has a lot of thick leg hair but his result was awesome. I will post the picture. This is less than 24 hours later. The only con of this wax is it’s incredibly sticky even when cool so take care not to get it on yourself or your warmers. Check out the pic!

I have only used it once so far. I will update again after a couple more waxes. So far so good. I waxed my legs. I have used GiGi Azulene for many many years. This is the 1st time buying from this seller. I purchased at Sally's in the past.

I found this product to be less irritating on my extremely sensitive skin and when proper measures were taken ( using tend skin as well) it reduces the redness and the bumps. The only negative I have about this product is that with one waxing of my entire legs almost the entire pot was gone. I am not a very hairy person it just appears as though once the wax was heated there was less product.

I have thin hair strands & sensitive skin. This Azure wax works better for me than the typical brown wax that salons used to use or usually use. I haven’t been to salon for waxing in over 15yrs. Husband said it costs too much to pay someone do it yourself or shave. I learned to wax myself.

I bought this wax with my Gigi wax warmer (Which I loooove!), because it seemed to have a better rating and rave than the all-purpose Honee wax... I honestly specifically got this one versus the Honee wax, because the latter was said to be too sticky by a lot of the customers - so I thought, "Great - this should be perfect!" This wax is an ineffective nightmare. I did all the proper pre-care and post-care for these treatments. I used the azulene wax on my legs, upper lip and chin. It works on about half of the hair... The other half of the hair is left covered in the disgustingly sticky wax... And it hurts... A lot. Since one isn't supposed to wax over areas again with soft wax, I just though "Okay, I'll use the oil and it will be fine." WRONG. I can't imagine what works to truly remove this wax beyond some classified military-developed detergent. Because it's very drippy, a couple drops landed on the porcelain sink... I still haven't been able to fully remove them, a month later. In the shower with the oil just made me upset... Not only did the product not work well (although it did get about half the hairs), cleaning it up involved digging with my fingernails on my skin for about 45 minutes. I would say the wax seems okay for the upper lip and tiny areas... It got basically all the hairs there. For anything bigger than that - or for hairs any courser than the upper lip hair (so basically any hair), I would never recommend this wax. EVER. My recommendation would be going for the Brazilian hard body wax. The main reason is because it's HARD, so it dries to a solid state and is 5,000 times easier to clean up than the azulene wax. The stripless hard wax also hurts a lot less, left very little redness and irritation (The azulene wax left me red for two days and very sensitive), and worked on many more hairs.

Money well spent. All my clients including myself gave this product 10/10. Applies nicely on the skin and pulls off with minimal irritation if any. I would defiantly recommend.

This wax is great for beginners like me! When I pull the strip off, all the hair comes off in one go, so I don’t have to re-wax the same area. I even did a bikini wax on myself, and it wasn’t as painful as I expected. I’d recommend taking a pain reliever about 30 minutes before waxing to help with discomfort. I’ll definitely buy this wax brand again!
