Goo Gone Automotive Cleaner - 24 Ounce - Bumper Stickers, Gum, Bird Droppings, Tree Sap, Spray Paint, Brake Dust and Asphalt

Recently, I stumbled upon a challenging task: removing the stubborn residue of duct tape from the exterior of my father-in-law's car. Anyone who has dealt with this knows how daunting it can be. After trying various products with little success, I found this spray. Skeptical but hopeful, I gave it a shot. To my amazement, the spray exceeded my expectations. With just a few sprays, the gel clung to the residue, not dripping off like many other liquid solutions. After letting it sit for a few moments, I began to wipe. The residue, which seemed like a permanent fixture on the car, started to dissolve effortlessly. The process, which I anticipated would be laborious and time-consuming, turned out to be surprisingly quick and effective. What impressed me the most was the lack of harsh chemical odors. Many cleaning products leave a strong, lingering scent, but this was pleasantly mild. Additionally, it didn't damage the car's paint, which was a significant concern for me. The spray not only tackled the duct tape residue but also worked wonders on other hard-to-remove stains and marks on the vehicle. This worked good for what I needed.

Product worked well. Took double sides tape off the hood of my cat. The sprayer did not work though. So have a back up sprayer or be prepared to dab on rag.

Goo Gone Automotive is working well in removing areas of adhesive from Gorilla Tape from the roof of our Honda Odyssey. Our Sunroof was broken by an object that flew from the top of a logging truck while we were on vacation. We had to use the Gorilla Tape to secure a waterproof covering over the area until we could get home and have the repairs done. The attached photo shows some of the tape goop that is remaining, we have already removed an amount equal to this. We did have to apply Goo Gone (following instructions on bottle) twice before we got a clean car roof. Also has to use a plastic scraper. It’s still a work in progress (It’s 100 degrees outside) but I am very sati#died with this product!

Removed about half of the grease stain on the car paint. Will apply another treatment and hope for more complete results. If it works better on the second treatment I will update the ratings.

In my business I have sponsors and affiliates that provide decals. As they are needing replaced for one reason or the other it makes it necessary to remove them. This took several produces and a lot of rubbing and scraping with a razor blade. This remover was perfect for what I needed.

Used it let it soak and scrubbed and it hardly did anything to the tree sap. I read some info online and found out about rubbing alcohol. The rubbing alcohol immediately took the tree sap off and was dirt cheap. I wasted my money on this goo gone product. They should probably not advertise that it works for tree sap. It probably works for sticker residue though so I'll save it for that and give it a try for a later date. Also it has a strong odor.

I have tried everything I could find to remove tree sap from car that was parked under pine trees for way too long. Sprayed this on let it sit - used a plastic scrapper and sap just pulled away. Then I buffed clean and washed car. Hands down best product for sap. Also has a citrus smell so not really chemical smelling.

Beaucoup de promesses marketing mais il ne convient à mon avis qu'à 1 ou 2 ou au maximum 3 des usages si on a de la chance. Il laisse des traces blanches sur les vitres que l'on ne peut plus ravoir sauf si on passe plusieurs minutes: il vaut mieux un nettoyant pour vitres classique. Ayant quelques bases scientifiques et pratiques, je ne risquerai pas un sou sur le nettoyage de l'intérieur, plastiques etc. Pour nettoyer les roues, sans simplifier jusqu'à évoquer le vinaigre, il y a bien mieux. Bref, ZERO à mon avis et les commentaires en anglais sont très éloignés de l'expérience que j'ai eue. Peut-être le produit libré était trop vieux???

No it didn't work, as i had paint spots and i didn't go.

Este producto es realmente una opción excelente para poder quitar los restos de pegamento en casi cualquier tipo de superficie ( leer instrucciones ya que en algunos materiales podría llegar a dañarlos) Yo compre la versión con atomizador ya que para mi es más práctico que otras presentaciones de este producto en el que varía el tipo de aplicador. No solo remueve pegamento también remueve otro tipo de restos que estén adheridos a alguna superficie. Solo hay que rociar sobre el area deseada dejar actuar unos minutos y con un paño retirar y limpiar.

B****y Garages love sticking their nasty advertising on vehicles. I used this to get garage padded stickers off my car and remove unsightly glue residue. Marvelous product. I also had a sticky residue on my PVC door left by the previous occupants. Having tried washing up liquid and other multi purpose sprays. I used this product and it came off like a dream - wish I'd known about it 12 years ago! Recommend!

Excelente producto, lo utilice para quitar los plásticos de la orilla del coche que se estaban derritiendo con el sol. Me habían recomendado usar acetona, alcohol incluso derretir el pegamento con una secadora. Pero este producto lo hizo en un instante. Lo removió con solo dos pasadas. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.
