Also, it shaped me on the waist very nicely. It was very well stitched. The fabric is a kind of thin and maybe a little bit see-through (I used a top underneath just in case). I'm 5'8"/5'9", it comes about to the bottom of my knees. But the reason I only give it four stars instead of five is the fabric. It's totally synthetic, I can't remember if the description claims there's some cotton in it but believe me, there's not. I wouldn't wear it to an outdoors event in the summer, I'd sweat to death. Wouldn't wear it dancing or anything like that. I suppose you could wear it to work all day if you sit at a desk in a nice, cool office. Otherwise I would just wear it to some simple, short (maybe 2-3 hours) event that didn't require any physical effort causing me to sweat. I just don't want to be in a synthetic dress for that long. On the bright side, it's not see-thru.But it fits good and looks about as good as I could hope for -I'm a bit "older" and don't have a perfect body but I'm fussy about how clothes fit me. I've probably ordered 8-10 dresses from Amazon over the years and I've only kept two, this is one of those.
