The only different thing I did, was because the blade was flat, it did not force the clippings in the bag so i tried putting the regular cutting blade with it and it worked. But be careful with this.

No....It needs to be the power rake blade.

do these work on the mantis dethatcher attachment?

Not sure if it fix Mantis, but I returned for refund after they broke after only using them to cover < 100 feet.
