A little more narrow than hoping for, but still a great shoe!
Just got these for my son who has been wearing the Stride Rite Soft Motion Kellen shoes in size 4.5 XW. These came as a size 5 W, not XW. They are super cute, but are definitely narrower than the 4.5 XW shoes. They did have the blue ones in an XW, but I wanted the gray, as they're more neutral and versatile. I thought they were going to be a lighter weight material than they are. I was hoping for more of a breathable mesh material to wear during spring and summer, rather than thick, cushy, warm tennis shoe material, as these are. They are super cute though, and once my son has them on his feet, he doesn't seem to care that they're a little more snug than his previous pair and that his feet get hot and sweaty. They also have that great, flexible, grippy, soft motion sole that allows him to walk with a more natural gait than if he were wearing a stiff soled shoe. I love Stride Rite Soft Motion shoes. I think all kids should wear them in the early years. They really make a difference in foot development, stability and balance.

Not great value for the price
These were purchased only a few weeks ago and already look like we have had them for much longer. The Velcro band is already stretched out and it hangs off the side when closed. The band then keeps becoming unvelcroed because it gets hooked on other things. I was hoping for better quality for the price. I will now have to find another pair much quicker than anticipated and spend more money.

Pretty OK Shoes
My kid's feet are basically fists with toes. Homedude has spent the majority of his first year barefoot. But, encouraged by societal norms, I had to find him some shoes. These fit well. He doesn't complain, and they make him run super fast... Ok, not that last bit. The Velcro isn't great. It stays in place but is curling and gets caught on clothing and what not. I'd buy them again though, even with the rebellious Velcro

Perfect toddler shoes
Love these little sneakers! What’s great to me is how low profile they are- some other brands came too high on the ankle and babies don’t have ankles! So they dig into their little legs. These sit low on the ankle and fit great. My 13 month old went to walking in them right away. Love all our stride rite shoes!

The shoe fits!
My 19 months old son has chunky wide feet and a size 4 any brand was too tight at the toes and size five was .5 inch too big for him. Had to look on Amazon for size 4.5 toddler. This shoe brand is soft and flexible with soft cushion pad inside. He loves it and runs faster in them than any other brands I have bought. I will be buying more of stride ride for him.

Velcro doesn’t stay
I purchased these shoes for my 15 month old less than 2 months ago. In the beginning I was very happy with it as it looked lightweight, good quality and my son seemed to be walking comfortably. However right after the return window had ended, the velcro straps started to not hold. I have cleaned the hooks several times and it doesn’t help. For the price I paid, I would have expected it to last more than 2 months. Unfortunately, without the velcro it is useless.

Good starter walking shoe. Good fit
My grandson lives in these (along w/other Softmotion) shoes. His mom decided they would be good for his first walking shoes. They fit well and mould to his foot. They are a great starter shoe. They make a wide option as well. He has a wide toe box and a narrow heel. That is a hard thing to fit but these work well.

Best for new walkers
Great for new walkers. My son is 10mos and on the walk! These are flexible and really comfortable for the little ones. I ordered wide bc of my little guys feet and they are perfect. The strap stays on so they can't pull off by baby. I will be getting larger sizes of these as baby grows. Also, these are stylish and we receive tons of compliments.

Los mejores tennis para los primeros pasos de tu bebé!
Están perfectos! Había comprado otras opciones para mi bebé pero tiene el empeine muy alto y no le podía meter el zapato, estos son muy fáciles de poner y como son Wide le quedan muy holgados y cómodos. Mi bebé solo camina con estos tennis porque son ligeros y la suela antiderrapante le da seguridad. Súper recomendados!

Un poco angosto
Me gusta mucho esta marca, este modelo en particular viene un poco reducidio es cómodo pero angosto y lo uso poco tiempo mi bebé, menos del que esperaba.
