Relieved my Morton's Neuroma pain!
These metatarsal pads are perfect. I bought these for a camping trip in hopes that they would relieve the pain from my Morton's Neuroma enough to allow me to hike with my family. These were the ticket! I do not have wide feet, so they worked perfectly and allowed my toes to spread apart with each step. I bought Brooks Womens Ghost 12 Running Shoes, which have a wide toe box (I ordered the slightly wider version, "B(M)") to allow these pads to spread my toes apart while walking. If I wore these with normal shoes, they were very tight and uncomfortable and actually caused more pain because there was even less room for my toes to spread apart than before. So definitely get a shoe with a wide toe box if you want these to work! They do slide off when I wear them barefoot, but it's not as bad if I wear them with socks and my house shoes when I'm at home. When I wear these with the Brooks tennis shoes, I have no issues with them sliding around at all! So thankful I found this perfect combination.

Digs too much into one toe
those these appear to be reasonably well made, they are chafing and really digging in to the spot where the big toe leans slightly into the 2nd toe, causing more discomfort. The left fit somewhat better, but the right, where I've used a boot for bone bruising resulting from metatarsal issues that created bunions, is too snug. After making some cuts in the toe area and putting it over my thick sock, I can wear it a little bit without chafing, however in sneakers or a heavy walking boot, these are very lumpy and impossible for me to wear.

Easy to use, additional padding for sore calluses on the feet. They wash up easy too.
I have several places on the bottom of my right foot that bother me, due to several fractures I had when I was younger. Later in life I have developed bone spurs and calluses in the injured areas. It's like having a sore foot and a rock in your shoe, it is uncomfortable to walk on and nothing seemed to help. I have custom orthotics that I use in my shoes and they help some but only when I have the shoes ON. These I can wear with house shoes or barefooted and still get some relief. They are comfortable to wear and they can be washed and reused very easily. They come as a set, one left and one right. I basically only needed the RIGHT foot one so I was glad that I bought TWO sets to start with anyway. I also have taken the left foot one and turned it inside out when the others were being washed and line dried. It might be worth noting that someone may ONLY need a left or right and maybe they could do TWO lefts, or TWO rights or a set of left and right. Either way they are well made and have held up well with daily use. When I first got them and started wearing them every day, I wished I had a bit MORE padding on the bottom where the sore area was, but now I am thinking the extra padding just in one area might make things uneven, not level. Maybe an additional padding could be added if needed, like the gel cushion inserts I have had... They fit snug but comfortably and I have had no issues with them. They are well made and durable too. Overall I am very well pleased with my purchases of these and I hope they help others as much as they have me and my old feet!

Must use
This product does exactly what it says. The fit and durability is a stand out. The support mechanism around your big toe provides the adhesion to your foot along with the elastic around your foot. It does provide pain relief to your Metatarsal bones allowing you to walk easier and with less pain. I use these for everyday walking and during my fitness activity and it has stayed in place flawlessly. I highly recommend this product if you have Metatarsal issues.

Disappointing - really wanted these to work.
Bought these along with the over-the-toe model to compare. My hope was I could wear these for yoga, sandals, and other non-sock situations. While they do provide good cushioning and some pain relief if placed just so, unfortunately there are too many cons to make it work. Keep in mind these types of pads are supposed to be worn just behind the ball of the foot, not directly under it, to relieve pressure on the metatarsal joints. The sleeves do this if pulled all the way on, so that the seam between the big and second toes digs way in. That's one con. Another con is the roughness of the bottom seam joint (see photo) that rubs the inner base of my foot raw. There's actually a little sliver of plastic sticking out there. But the biggest con is that they SLIDE right up over your toes as soon as you move even a little. So you have to wear a snug sock to hold it in place, and even then they slide around throughout the day making it impossible to keep them where they're needed. I'm only a size 9 women so I don't think that's the cause. So at this point there's really no benefit to the sleeve when they do the same thing as the over-the-toe model anyway. Those also move around but at least they don't cause additional discomfort. Sad to say, I'll likely be returning these.

Definitely buying more!
So with my last job I started getting blisters on the bottoms of my feet, on the ball of my second toes. I just started working again Monday and I got those blisters again. I tried using Vaseline and putting 2 pieces of gauze then wrapping it up, sure it helped. For one foot. I managed to get one to go away but the other was still lingering this morning when I woke up. I payed the extra for 2-day shipping because it hurt so bad to walk from the blisters and the friction was making the one bigger and started to go up my toe a little. I got these in the mail in time today to put them on before I left for work. DO NOT STRETCH THEM OUT!! I made the mistake of stretching them and broke a small part of the elastics, however for my preference it actually helped because my feet swell since I’m on them all day so, if that’s what you prefer, do it at your own risk. They feel pretty weird at first but if your on your feet most of the day like I am, you don’t notice them as much the more you wear them. I will definitely be buying some more. I felt no pain at all today which was huge for me because the last 3 days my feet have been killing me from having to wrap them to keep the blisters from busting and such. I love these. They’re so comfortable and easy to use and I would definitely recommend these if you had/have the same problem as me

Would purchase again
Durable. Padding is inconsistent between the black and nude pairs with the nude pairs being thinner. Originally bought them to protect my feet from the concrete around the pool during maintenance but wear them around the house as well. Attempted to wear them with athletic shoes but didn’t fit well. Overall, reduced foot pain, stays in place, not slipping issues on hardwood or laminate floors.

Pain, heat and swelling have resolved…
I had pain in the balls of my feet caused by dancing in thin-soled shoes on hard flooring!! It got to the point where it felt like I had a pebble in my shoes under the balls of my feet as my (metatarsal?) muscles were bulging with discomfort. At night my feet would ache and become red and swollen to the point where I’d need to use ice blocks to relieve the swelling and pain. I had no choice but to buy some gel pads as it was getting to the point where I was hobbling around on the sides of my feet to avoid aggravating the balls of my feet. I took a leap of faith in this product (I haven’t had an official diagnosis so had not been told how to remedy the injury other than what Dr Google suggested). The relief from these gel pads was instant. It was exactly what my feet had been screaming out for. I really thought ‘wish I’d bought these sooner!’. At first I thought the pads would be too thin but what I found was that they were actually just right for spreading the effect of repetitive impact when walking around which has allowed the painful, swollen areas of my feet to recover. They take a little getting used to - my socks kind of slip off when I’m wearing the pads without shoes but they do stay on my feet. The band around my foot could have been tighter but that would just be nit-picking (I am a standard width, size 5/38 shoe size). I’ve been wearing these pads every day for about three weeks to really give my feet a rest and the pads have retained their shape. The cushioning effect has not worn away so I would say they are quite durable. I think the fact that they are a gel pad rather than one made with stuffing/wadding means they are more effective. I’m going to try a day or two without the pads to see if my feet have fully recovered and just use them as I need to (if I need to at all). The significant problem I had with my feet has drastically improved because of these foot pads. I no longer feel like I have pebbles in each shoe under the balls of my feet! Tip: you really do need to loosen shoes when wearing these pads as, despite appearing thin, the pads do leave less room for your feet, obviously. This can leave the tops of your feet feeling squeezed if you have not loosened your footwear enough (I’ve been wearing lace up trainers).

Great Product
Works as advertised. During the summer I don't wear my orthotics and these pads help me walk pain free. I also like to walk barefoot however should not without metatarsal support ~ now I can. Definitely would recommend these.
