All 10 caterpillars arrived healthy and happy. Webbing was made previous to arrival, they are all moving around nicely. My kiddos can’t wait to watch them as they grow into butterflies. They love the hard play cycle of life as well, all around amazing and great quality! The booklet is adorable, and the instructions were on point.

My father bought these for me as a child and now I am an entomologist and wanted to do the same with my children. They LOVED it. One of our cups came with 2 dead caterpillars, but when i reached out to the company just to let them know, they immediately sent out a brand new cup for free no questions asked. Which ended up being really cool because they were younger and my kids got to essentially do two rounds of hatching. 10/10 experience and 10/10 company

This is a great gift. My 4 year old grandson watched the little worms make a chrysalis and then break out as beautiful butterflies which we said good bye to as they flew away into the summer sky. He was fascinated by it. When I got the box I thought the worms were all dead, but no, they all did their thing and it's a great science project

This was my second time ordering caterpillars, hoping for a better experience. Unfortunately, it was another disappointment. One cup only came with two caterpillars, while the other had five, but two of them were already dead. My first order was even worse — all of them were dead on arrival. Really frustrating, especially for something meant to be fun and educational. Would not buy again.

I much liked it so did my kids. Other than the fun they had he kept him busy.

The Insect Lore butterfly kits are fantastic! We use this every year as part of our homeschool lessons, and it has become one of my kid’s favorite projects. Watching the caterpillars grow and transform into butterflies right in front of us is such an amazing learning experience. It turns science into something real and exciting, and the moment we release the butterflies outside is always so special.

This kit has been perfect! We purchased the kit that has 2 jars and the figures of the life cycle. It comes with everything you need for their whole time with you. Make sure to read instructions! I think they ha e received some bad reviews because people didn't read the instructions. It let's you know that the caterpillars could take up to 2 days to be active after travel. All 10 of our caterpillars turned into butterflies and did great. I slightly recommend this for teaching or for just sharing this experience with your kiddos.

This is an amazing kit!!!! I have bought this kit twice last spring and this spring! My granddaughter was amazed to watch the butterflies go through the various stages and the butterflies were beautiful!! We LOFE this kit!! I highly recommend!

Very disappointed as it takes weeks to arrive.. every stage happened well the package traveled to me.. one butterfly ( that was nice to see) but not for that price..
