OUCH !! Pick out the sharp bits before feeding.
There are pieces in this with thorns. Be careful as the are sharp and it hurts. Better me than the hamster. Hamlet has just had some of the other bits and was very excited to find them in his pot. But as a wee feller, those thorns could do a fair bit of damage to feet, pouches, eyes etc.. They look small to us but are v big to something that small. The rest of its lovely and smells really fresh. But please pick out the sharp bits before giving it to your pet.

Brambles, not for hamsters.
there are brambles in it and the forage is dust tbh, I only bought It for the apple wood chews. If hamsters pouch it that would be BAD.

Rats enjoy it
I buy this sort of treat mix for our rats who seem to enjoy it. I generally use it after cleaning out their cage and I sprinkle it over their fresh substrate, mixing it in, so they have some tasty nibbles to snuffle out and dig up. I do pull out the thorny twigs as don't want any rattie feet getting caught on a thorn but there's still plenty of the dried fruit, flowers and leaves left after and one pack lasts us for about 3/4 uses.

Chinchilla Treat
My chinchillas love this. It has lots of dried apple (their favourite) and some sticks to gnaw, as well as other nibbles. It is currently on sale (at £1.55) so a real bargain. Even when not on sale this is about £2.29 which I think is pretty reasonable for what you get.
